Riverside Fish & Chips

Lengthy wait. Only 2 orders ahead of us. Price would be fair if the food good. Ridiculously small portions of fish. 2 inches by 4 inches. On top of delicious fries. One portion was difficult to cut/chew because it was so dry. Couldn't go back in because the doors were locked. 7PM on a Saturday night! Sat outside to enjoy the breeze when 3 staff came out to smoke at the next table. Pretty sure two started groping each other. So disappointed because I so love to support local business and not franchises. May try again at the end of the summer. The photo in the other review looks 3 times as big as what was served to us.

The food was delicious. The servers were friendly and helpful.

Classic small town greasy chip place. The schnitzel burger was pretty good. They have good ice cream and picnic tables out back in the shade.

Haven't been in a while sure has changed since the new owners have taken over ......waited at the counter for 7-10 mins while the employees sat out side ....prices alot higher portions smaller but food was decent Use to be our favourite spot as we drive over and hour to get here :(

The fish and fries were freshly fried and everything was really clean. Its a nice place to have some quality comfort food. Really enjoyed it!
