The food and the service was amazing. Ambience was also good. Ordered Turkey Clubhouse Sandwich with Soup of the dayTomato, chicken and macroni and Farmers breakfast with French Toast and Sourdough Bread. Also got Hot Chocolate and Coffee for the Table. It was so fulfilling that we almost couldn't walk back home. Loved it. Surely recommended!
A perfect old fashioned coffee shop that won't break the bank. I had a Half Order of corned beef hash and filled a 10" dinner plate! Good value and the most wonderful service from several seasoned serving pro's. These ladies are sweet and know the secret to great customer service. I would return just to visit them! This is my second favourite place for corned beef hash. First is Mission Horse Brunch in Mission BC. Lots of free parking.
Looking for a quick, locally owned hole in the wall type breakfast this morning around 7am. Was seated promptly and I knew the way the waitress was chatting & the patrons were chatting amongst themselves that this place is frequented by regulars and I took that as a good sign. Coffee was great, waitress was pleasant & the food was hot and good as well. Fairly basic & straight forward menu, it’s likely a great spot to get your comfort food fill. I will definitely return :

Excellent service, very friendly, comfort food menu. Clean and tidy, if a bit dated which has its charm. Food was excellent; my omelette was perfectly cooked and loaded with veggies. My wife’s shepherds pie looked savoury and loaded as well tho she said it was quite salty. Our experience was still very positive! We will be back!
Great bunch of ladies running this restaurant. Always a good crowd. Fast friendly service. Food is not spectacular but very good.
I have been going to rivers since I was a kid and I am 44 It is the same waitresses and a different location. The service is fast. The food is good and the waitresses are amazing.Food: 5/5

Excellent food, always hot, good sized portions. The sausage are excellent. Excellent service too.
The customer service here was fantastic came here with my girl and we're greeted right away the food was delicious and came to us quite quickly the portion size was perfect we definitely plan on coming back to this hidden gem!Food: 4/5
