Intimate bar with a great selection of drinks and a solid menu. The place is on the small side but some seating at the bar was enough for me and my friend to squeeze in there. Lots of beers, mixed drinks, and some local possibly house beer options. The menu is quite good with the specialty being the wood fire pizzas which we just didn’t happen to be in the mood for but they looked delicious. We had a couple bacon burgers and they were superb! Nice size portion and fresh ingredients. There’s also a pretty good sized patio and lots of parking. They had a fire going which was nice for the folks hanging outside.
Probably the best Dive bar in Golden , pretty lively , pool table , the oven pizza was descent , a bit salty but good , the wings were Mhh but the ribs were pretty good! Service was great despite the shortage of staff and the wood fire outside was great , definitely would go back!!

Not sure why the girl working had such an attitude but we stood and waited for a while to ask if we could sit outside and she decided emptying bottles and kicking an empty beer case towards us was a better use of her time. She never did even greet us or give us the time of day by acknowledging we were there but she did chastise a man who ordered a beer they didn't have by telling him "these are the beer we have" while pointing to the menu and walking away. Heard this place was great from the staff at Golden Taps but I'd never give them a dime
Traveling from California and was lucky to find this place with the Taco Tuesday Special. The tacos were excellent and authentic and a deal. Bartender was super friendly and location was excellent. Ate on the patio next to Kicking Horse River. Beer selection was excellent.
Chill vibes and friendly staff. The people this place attracts are cool. It offers a pool table inside and a fire pit and patio outside where people hang out and drink beers and such. Of all the puns we visited during our stay, this was the best one.
Dropped in after a long day, it was close to the Hotel we decided that based on a few of the reviews that it would be worth a shot. WOW I had the Riv Burger, the Wife had Beef deep. We both were beyond impressed with the meal. Dustin was busting it out at the Bar and was friendly, efficient and made notice that we were visiting and took a little extra care. It was busy and that kind of attention detail goes a long way especially during times when service can be the first to go. Well done Boys we will be back again on the next trip through. Here's us already smashing half the meal before realizing these guys deserve a 5 star!

There's a lot of heavy metal music, kind of local bar. The chicken hamburger is very good and at a decent price. The beer selection is not very wide, but it's good enough. There's free pool for you to play. And in the summer time you can take advantage of the campfire at the patio, with look to the river. Really cool overall.
