River Station Suite Hotel

The hotel is clean but service could be better. Customer service training for the morning shift receptionist is highly recommended. Very inconvenient hotel, you need to go out of the building to be able to get your breakfast. No washroom in the lobby. I stayed in a room that does not have a window in the bedroom. I’m not so sure if all rooms are designed that way. The building is designed as residential condo and converted to a hotel.

We spend a night on this hotel- it's kinda an apt of one bedroom- full kitchen and completed with laundry machine. It's a quite place and so comfortable. Restaurants close by. Definitely we will stay in this hotel again.Rooms: 5/5

My vehicle was broken into and this has happened in the past at this hotel. I was parked in the underground parkade and thieves can get in easily. I believe this should of been resolved long before my vehicle was broken into. If a hotel guest or an employee walked in on the thieves while this was happening it could of been a lot worse.

I checked in for the night last minute, taking advantage of the wonderful rate Ramada had to offer for the Queen Bed Suite. The room was immaculate, modern and comfortable. However what truly separated this evening from other past stays in the area, was the front desk staff. Marianne and company, thank you for your knowledgeable professionalism and courtesy. It was truly a breath of fresh air!

Clean modern rooms w/ comfy beds however when compared to other hotels in the area with comparable suites, the Ramada could do better. It has the advantage of having a full oven in the room which was nice for my extended stay. However, there were a few things I feel were missing for the rate you're paying...thermostat locked stayed during summer heatwave - ac couldn't keep up, no ice machine in the building ice buckets provided in room though?, no breakfast offering or at least none advertised during check-in/front desk interactions, and no business centre despite being advertised. I stay in hotels for work a little over five months a year and things like an ice machine or decent climate control are an expectation, fix those and this review would be more positive.

Basically a one bedroom condo. Can't go wrong for thr price! Very clean. Would stay again.Rooms: 5/5

Tried calling to make a reservation - worst phone call experience ever! The person was working from home, & their bird was screaming into the phone every 20 seconds. The lady hung up on me accidently and didn't bother to call me back & I had already gave her my number. Terrible customer service for someone trying to book a room. Booked the room online, much better experience, but that's sad.

Excellent room, incredibly comfortable bed, and even though we had accidentally made the wrong reservation got a one bed, needed two the receptionist, Han, went above and beyond to sort out the problem with us! I couldn't recommend any other hotel to stay at in Fort McMurray!Rooms: 5/5

Great room, literally like a two bedroom condo/apartment. Appliances and finishings were new, quiet, close to downtown and Gregoire. Would recommend as a work stay.Rooms: 4/5
