My wife and I booked a night here so we could rest during our move from Vancouver to Edmonton.nnSarah was more than helpful and extremely friendly. We got to chat with her for a while before heading in the road again. 10/10 would recommend for a quick stay or even a long one.nnThe river is stunning, especially waking up to the sound of it. I would have been outside all night if it wasn’t to cold. We will be back in the summer time to experience more of what Rivers Edge Retreat and Clearwater have to offer for adventurous fun.nnThank you very much Sarah, we look forward to seeing you again in the future.
We had an RV site with full hook up.nLovely position on the river, nice and quiet at night. Very friendly check in with Sarah. Great showers and bathroom facilities, all very new at time of our stay. Good breakfast at The Painted Turtle, walking distance from site and with Lake Views.
During a recent holiday to Canada, my husband and I stopped at River’s Edge Retreat for a night. It was a great stopping point between Whistler and Jasper, and gave us the opportunity to explore Wells Gray Provincial Park.nnThe cabin itself was charming, and had a great quiet location right by the river. It was bright, modern and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had plenty of equipment so we were able to cook breakfast. Unfortunately it was raining when we visited, so we couldn’t use the beautiful outdoor seating for a glass of wine, but it was lovely for morning coffee instead.nnThe location of River’s Edge Retreat is great, it’s a few minutes from plenty of stores and restaurants, as well as the spectacular Wells Gray Provincial Park entrance.nnIf you’re looking for a cosy cabin in Clearwater - River’s Edge Retreat is the perfect spot. I found it was great value for money and well equipped for all our needs.
We spent two nights at the River Edge Retreat with another couple. The location is fantastic, just a short distance from Wells Gray Provincial Park. Unfortunately, an unexpected power outage occurred during our stay, and the owners initially struggled to provide effective alternatives. However, after discussing the situation with them, they demonstrated a genuine willingness to improve.nnWhile the property is new and still has some areas that feel unfinished, it offers a promising stay and is likely to only get better with time.
We loved our stay in glamping cabin 10. Sarah was very helpful with our booking and welcoming. The location is very calming and serene. No running water in the cabin and byo cooking stove but that was fine for us. It was so pleasant relaxing on the deck.
