Been in this place twice. Spectacular landscape view and you can compare to anywhere else. The atmosphere is also very good. Location rate: 5/5 Food is okay. The brunch menu is limited. Egg Benedict is delicious, Omlet and other options are just okay. Coffee is good. Tea is horrible, the china teapot poorly designed. It makes tea cold very fast. Try to pour from teapot to your cup and you pour all over table. Taste rate: 2/5 Staff are generally nice. The first time there we actually had a good experience. Second time though, manager was there and she was super aggressive. Giving the look to the kids. Not cooperating to seat the guests at all. Making three mistakes on the order and still super tempered and negative. To be fair second time was in long weekend and they were very busy. Still do not understand how a manager can be so unprofessional. They were very unprofessional to split the bills too. Service rate: 1/5 Prices were average compared to the location you eat. But compared to quality a little high. Price rate: 4/5 Overall experience, I still love the location and believe it is one of the most unique places to eat, chill and enjoy the sunshine.
Such a great experience here on Sunday night- some of the best service I have ever had! Enjoyed the delicious salmon prawn wellington which I highly recommend. Always happy when craft beer is on the menu as well . 10/10 hope I get to come back soon
Flew in to this local treasure for a lovely breakfast. Had the eggs benny which was expertly made and very tasty. Coffee was very good too. So thankful to the Sandpiper golf course operators for providing a safe landing strip for local pilots to enjoy this awesome spot.
Made reservations for dinner at 6pm in the morning of New Years Eve. When we got there we were promptly seated by the ladies at the front who were genuinely friendly and courteous. The restaurant looked beautiful. Although I was a little nervous to be seated in the glass room patio because I don’t like the cold, it was very comfortable. Our waitress was a true professional. We didn’t feel rushed during the course of our dinner which was amazing. Actually the best dinner we have had there. Congratulations to the chef and all involved in putting on an amazing New Years dinner! Thank you
Dead as a door knob. Extremely rude to my friends . Said manager was busy when we asked to speak to the manager because of the lack of service. Staff is so rude. Sat there for 30 minutes without any menus or water. Never ever coming here again. Too bad used to be one of our favourite places to meet. They will financially go under with this type of staff and manager.
Charlotte just was fantastic hosts for us, but unfortunately I had a accident with my food and they kindly removed it from my bill. However overall experience I can say it was awesome view , awesome experience. Definitely recommend it. For sure I will come back
We have visited 4 times in the last month. We must say, the food is incredible. Hats off to the chef. Never had anything that wasn’t absolutely awesome. The problem is the service. Every time it was significantly lacking. 10 minutes to receiving a menu, difficult to flag down a waiter/waitress for a drink refill, and not a smile in the house tonight. To be honest, the food quality will likely bring us back a couple more times hoping the service improves. If not, we’re looking forward to the Sasquatch reopening.
I have been here three times for lunch in the past year and half. Three times I have not been disappointed. I always order the Birdie burger. The blackened cajun chicken breast is always tender, juicy and seasoned nicely. It is nicely accompanied by a soft and chewy brioche bun. The garlic mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles complete the burger. The fries are a bit disappointing as they're a bit bland; not bad though. So this time around, I opted for the house greens. It is drizzled with the perfect amount of some sweet berry sauce which is light and really compliments the salad well. Overall, the service is pretty decent, I have had no issues with the waitress or having to wait awhile for my order to be taken or food to come. Friendly. Will be back if I am in the area again.
We were a group of 8 people when we entered the restaurant, we were treated very badly and they were not happy at all to accept the customer in the last hour! Our little kids were treated angrily and they got a lot of stress.
This place was absolutely lovely. The cook was a bit late due to the crazy winter storm, but we were spoiled with baileys and coffee for our patience and wonderful service by the waitress. The omelette I had was 11/10. Seriously. I dont know how you can make a mushroom, tomato and pepper omelette 11/10 but this place figured it out. Not to mention the breakfast was included in our stay! Very affordable regardless.
