When are they going to do something with the parking lot, it is just full of mud all the time and no designated spots really to park and not an easy pathway from the parking lot to the actual rinks. Kids are trying to carry their heavy hockey bags. Also the doors should probably have an automated buttons for the doors to open so the kids with their bags can get in. One door is always locked so there's only one side that's open. But the parking lot again is disgusting an increasingly difficult trying to get in and out. The other day there were two tour buses with trailers attached that took up the whole parking lot horizontally and they had barricades up which restricted almost the entire parking lot and us being able to get to and from the rinks. And when it rains oh my goodness.
This place left me with lots of smiles, great staff including the manager, they are so friendly, especially the dealers Peter, Ivan, Kelly... they are amazing, I will definitely come back not only to play but to see them for fun and relaxation, they are lovely!
Great hockey camp put on by the U of A. Good facility. Back for Serdachny Camp which has a great player to coach ratio. We sometimes take advantage of dinner deals at the casino as well. Decent seating area. We like that they take donated hockey equipment to support players who struggle financially. Would only be improved by having better spectator seating at the second rink.
One arena has good seating, but the second one has horrible cramped bleachers. Kids had a blast at the hockey tournament.
Great arena. Not freezing. But the administration is really trouble some to get hold with. Leaving multiple voicemails no one ever call me back.
