Member Benefits & Profit Sharing

One of the many benefits of being a RCCU member is that you own a piece of the Credit Union and have the ability to assist with it’s direction.
Each member of RCCU purchases a $25.00 Common Share when opening their account. This Common Share allows the member to vote at our Annual General Meeting each spring. The common share also allows you the right to run for a position on our Board of Directors. RCCU Common Shares earn dividends each year which are paid to the members’ Common Share account.
By joining RCCU you also join the world wide network of Credit Union’s that spans the globe. RCCU works with other Credit Union’s throughout the province country and world to support initiatives that affect everyone from our local to our global economy.
All members of the Credit Union enjoy the benefit of a 100% guarantee on all deposits including their accrued interest.

As an owner of RCCU we ensure that you are looked after and that you are paid first. We share our profits each year and this will give you the opportunity to participate in Credit Union success, as a portion of net earnings after tax is returned to members by way of Interest.
