Story

River City Cinema (formerly Cinema 72) has four auditoriums. All cinemas have full stereo surround sound. The 3 main auditoriums are wheel chair accessible.

The toll-free movie information line allows out of town customers to check movie information free. Matinees are held every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and on most holiday Fridays/Mondays.

We have a party room where birthday and other types of parties are welcome. Feel free to contact the manager to get Birthday Party info and prices.

We have a special family admission price which allows large families to attend at a bargain price any time. Tuesday is discount night, with all seats at $6.

A bit old and dirty, but it’s the best and only option there is, so I guess it’s acceptable : Gone a few times and enjoyed it! Grateful to have a movie theatre!
6$ or so for a movie on a Tuesday was a great price, you get what you pay for. But I think this is the first theatre I’ve seen in a decade with seats that don’t even tilt a little. Knees were touching the next seat and little tough to get comfortable. Can’t complain for the price though!
Half the time the movie cuts out and we cant watch our movie properly. They need to get better casting equipment
Thoroughly enjoyed a new Marvel franchise movie. Couldn't believe the sparse head count at the theater on Cheap Tuesday! So I'm here to remind you even when expenses are higher I think we all need to try treating friends, family & ourselves to a night out at the movies! You deserve a little escape & THE THEATER DESERVES YOUR SUPPORT! .... u @
The employees are always super sweet, lovely bunch of thoughtful peeps down there. Theatre is decent, and the prices are fair, its not the best in the province but if you happen to be up here its pretty good.
