What an experience! The atmosphere is amazing. We sat at the patio in the back with a lovely water fountain. The food was incredible. From their rustic bread to dessert...we can't even put into words. Service was impeccable and everyone is so happy! Definitely will be back!
We went to Riva for a dinner on Saturday. It was an extremely tremendous dining experience! The food was some of the best we've had, cooked to perfection. The service was great and the decor was phenomenal set inside a historic building. It reminded us how good Italian cuisine can be.
Had a wonderful dinner there last night. We took our best friends out to dinner. The place is gorgeous. The food was amazing. The wait staff was amazing. It was a magical evening. I highly recommend

Our best experience eating out in Canada! The food was fantastic, the cocktails were great, and the outdoor seating could not have been nicer. Our waiter James was really incredible, and even though there were some long waits for the cocktails, it was not noticeable at all for us as the setting was so great and the service was so good.
My daughter recommended this restaurant for our Anniversary. We've never been to the Riva, but would highly suggest it for a spot for fine dining. They have 2 outdoor patios that are shaded. We ate in the great room. So many windows! The atmosphere and food was amazing. Parking: Across the street from the restaurant.
Restaurant with beautiful food and interiors. The patio is beautiful and has a number of fountains. We had the oysters, Caesar salad, calamari, Fungi pizza and some wine - everything was great! I specially liked the pizza and the Caesar salad. Gananoque is great stop whether you are going from Toronto-Ottawa/Toronto-Montreal, and eating here makes it even better. Plan to spend around an hour for a good lunch here, it is a central location and you can easily go to downtown Gananoque and the waterfront here. There is also a park near by where you can watch the ducks after eating.
Excellent lunch, we arrived early on a Sunday for lunch and service was excellent . Food always delicious and they have a children’s menu as well with nice pasta dishes. Everyone was happy with their food chicken salad, lobster rolls, Carpaccio…
Everything was very tasty. My granddaughter and I sat in the courtyard and had our lunch. She had penne pasta from the kids menu, and I had the sesame chicken salad.
We had a fairly good meal here. The atmosphere and service was decent and so was the food. Would have liked a tad bit more salt or offered parmesan for the pasta. For the dessert - the creme brule and peacan tart were good - the mascarpone cake was gross. Also, the drinks were just okay.
