I am 29 years old, and together with my husband we purchased our first home with Rinaldi Homes - Merritt Medows subdivision, in 2017. Our closing was August 2018. Purchasing a new home can be overwhelming - it felt like we were signing our lives away! Our first point of contact was our sales lady, Daniella and later Vingy. I cannot begin to phathom how there can be any bad reviews here; our personal experience was nothing but exceptional. These two ladies were very thorough, patient, and apologetic when needed. They have gone over and beyond any of our expectations. Our Second point of contact was our personal Interior designer, Kristina. She was NOT overpowering and ultimately saw our vision. She was the most helpful! In the past my parents have purchased a house from a builder in the Mississauga area. When we toured the models homes with Rinaldi and later our own home during the construction process, we were more than pleased. The worksmanship, quality and neatness that was put into these homes, compared to the one purchased in Mississauga Summitview, was by far top notch. I could not ask for anything better, my home is something I adore, and the service I have received leading up to my closing date was beyond anything I could ask for. I have two uncle's, my parents and myself who have purchased seperate homes in this subdivision. We will continue to refer people to Rinaldi for their world class service.
My wife and I recently visited the Ronaldo homes office in Fort Erie and were met with Danielle and Miki who gave us a very good introduction of the company and what they had to show us. Danielle took us through a walk through of a home that wasn’t fully finished but she really put her whole heart into giving us as much details on the home, what the basic finishes were, the upgrades available and also what future Developement would be happening in the next little while. We definitely felt comfortable with her as she does not put any pressure but it’s quite evident that she enjoys what she does and does a great job as well. . Well done Danielle and wish you the very best. Rinaldi Homes has a great asset in having you on board.
We have now been in our new home built by Rinaldi for 4 months! This is not the first home we built; however, is the "best" experience we have had in the 4 homes we've built. Why? Starting with Danielle; what an awesome individual. She was always a pleasure to work with and she was very thorough. Everything was explained to us and if she couldn't answer our questions, she always got back to us quickly. Both my husband and I enjoyed our dealings with Danielle. Then on top of all Danielle's goodness, we also dealt with Vingy and Barb throughout the process and again, thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with them. Once we signed the contract we met with Rinaldi's design team to make our selections at each of the service providers where designers were available to help. This made our experience so enjoyable; whether it was choosing lights, flooring, cabinets, baseboards etc., the Rinaldi team and designers at each store showed us the available possibilities there were many and we went with colors and a scheme that we might not otherwise have chosen on our own. We fell in love with the Andrew Lane townhome show home and I recall saying to Danielle, "so I'm going to be able to walk in my home and feel the same way as I do in here?" - She smiled and responded, "Yes you are!" I can confirm that I do feel the same well, maybe better as we had a hand in choosing our townhome's design. We were delivered a near perfect home what's perfect in life?. Everything is of a quality and standard that Rinaldi can be proud of and that we as homeowners can be and are proud of! As it relates to the few minor issues we have had, they were dealt with promptly and 100% to our satisfaction! Some of the things that impressed us about Rinaldi; as compared to the other companies we built with: the care they took to build a neighborhood where not every house is a cookie cutter of the other. The roof lines are all different which again, lends itself to the homes being unique. Even the townhomes have variances where you don't feel like you are living in an institutional neighborhood. Our townhome does not feel like a townhome, it feels like a standalone home. The driveways are gorgeous not just concrete, the ventilation system in the home is wonderful! The plan is very well thought out for anyone downsizing as although the kitchen may be a bit smaller than a standalone home, it is designed so well with a walk in pantry and closet off the kitchen. You don't have to worry about where your kitchen items are going to be placed or if they will all fit. I absolutely love my kitchen and it is the smallest of all the homes we've built. The closet space and storage in our home is very well thought out we finished our basement. All in all, we are very happy with our home and our experiences with the Rinaldi team. I can't forget to mention that our interactions with Dave and his crew and Olivia and Selena were also a pleasure! I highly recommend the Rinaldi Team with pleasure!
We entered into a contract with Rinaldi Homes in good faith, unfortunately we have had a horrible, extremely frustrating experience. Currently, over 6 of our neighbors are in the same situation. This contractor has made no efforts to resolve the situation, emails, calls are not answered. I have been shocked that a builder would treat his customers with such a lack of respect. This should have been a simple situation to resolve involves the return of $1000 deposit instead the builder has decided to create a mountain of ill will by not returning our money. This has become a matter of principle as the $1000 deposit is our money, not Rinaldi's.
Would not recommend this builder to no one. Window installation is sloppy, electrical work is unprofessional, general quality of construction is poor. After sales customer service is a joke - slow, snoby and ignorant. That summs it up.
