Established in 1850.
Lowell School of Business in NY was established in 1850 by Daniel W. Lowell where he spent his life supervising the training of thousands of young men and women for business careers.
Ridley Secretarial School was founded in New York in 1936 by Earle D. Ridley. He provided business training for students and, in turn, supplied business and professional communities with personnel fully trained in the most modern office techniques of the day.
In 1968, the schools were consolidated into one structure; today Ridley-Lowell is one of America's oldest private business schools in continuous operation.
In 1976 the schools became one corporate structure under the leadership of current president, W.T. Weymouth and Executive Vice President, Norma Weymouth. The success of its students as active members of the workforce and Ridley's dedication to the continued success of its communities led to a later demand for expansion. There are now eight Ridley-Lowell campus buildings in New York, Connecticut with latest opening in West Warwick, Rhode Island. This is a family run network of schools with daughters Lauren and Andrea Weymouth actively involved in creating strong communities within the learning halls.
