The best ER I have ever been to guys! Had to go to the Langley ER and they said they could not do my little surgery due to understaffed and they sent me home with antibiotics after been waiting for 10 hours. And When I went to Ridge Meadows ER, they took me in and was very pleasant from the get go and got my surgery done within few hours and went home as a happy man. I was in at 3.00pm and out at 7pm. Kudos to all of your nurses and doctors at Ridge Meadows.
I went in this morning with a dislocated shoulder that was hurting badly! I wasn’t able to keep my composure very well but the nurses were still understanding with me and the doctor helped my injury! I will always appreciate that and the fact they helped me in a fast manner as I was in soo much pain. Thank you Ridge Meadows emergency staff!
We lucked out and were in and out within 1hr 45min during weekday dinner time. We were triaged for a foot injury right away and then about 20 minutes later we were sent to get an xray. After the xray we were sent into the emergency ward where the doctor saw us within about 30 minutes and sent off with no broken bones, just a deep bruise.nnThe ER doctor and ER team seemed to run a tight ship and everyone was fairly nice. Not curt/surly staff like in some hospitals.nnCheck the wait times online but overall they seem to be less busy than the major trauma hospitals.
People who are working as nurse should understand the pain waiting here. Why do they show attitude? How are they allowed to use phones and keep chatting? How do they chat, laugh and giggle when people around them are in pain?nIt is Emergency Room, but looks like clowns dressed up as nurses. These guys should be in circus.nNote, not all of them are bad. There are few who don't deserve to work here. I hope changes happen. This place needs some serious attention by patient care quality officers.
I arrived around 7:30am, intake happened right away as the ER waiting area was empty. After 90 minutes a doctor examined me and ordered a CT scan. I had to wait 3 hours for the scan and another 3 hours for diagnosis and prescription. That might seem like a long time but considering how busy the ER got with more urgent cases and triage being a continuous process throughout the day, I'm completely satisfied with my care. I received a thorough written report, and, had this rare benign condition been misdiagnosed, I could have been unnecessarily hospitalized. Kudos to all the doctors, nurses, housekeepers, orderlies, mechanics, security, and volunteers keeping this place running 24/7.
