Wonderful playground for kids. 4 baseball fields for playing. Place for baseball, basketball and tennis practicing. A lot of people walk their dogs there.
This playground is beautiful. Accessible, great for toddlers and bigger kiddos alike. There are a few riding toys scattered about, a generous sandbox, and two levels of slide/climbing. Additionally, there are two bucket swings, three big kid swings, and a generous walking area for parents who want to keep older kids in eyesight but don't need to be on top of them.
Great place to play basketball, be recreational and enjoy the weather!
Grew up coming here to play, practice and compete. I am 40 now and they have done a great job upgrading and maintaining this wonderful ball field. Glad to see that generations to come will still be playing on the same diamonds as I once did.
Great time with my fiance and 1 year old son. He was so happy. We had entire park to ourselves. We go to this location multiple times per week. Atmosphere is great. Open space and peaceful...
This was a pretty intricate playground with a sandbox filled with toys, Swings, a handicap swing, a saucer swing, slides, climbing and balancing equipment, benches, and monkey bars. There's a baseball diamond, and a basketball court.. and across the way there's like an America Ninja Warrior type play area that seems to be a work in progress but there weren't any signs or fences keeping people out. It had like a spider walk, a rope ladder, a climbing rope, a high-knee rope course, one of those finger grip things that you shuffle across, and a peg bridge. It was def cool!
It’s an average playground, it could be much better. But the main problem is that they keep adding to much stuff. Like the baseball scoreboard, which I have been seen used once and is currently falling apart. The exercise area is overrun with kids, and now they want to add an automated baseball thrower. Most of these things are completely useless, so I think they need better management.
They've been working on this playground since I moved to Concord. One day they'll be done, but I'ma way they're gilding the lily; it was a great playground to begin with. Two areas of play apparatus, big Field with a couple of baseball diamonds, and friendly neighborhood kids add up to a don't miss playground.
Medium size. Has the usual, swing sets, climbing and sliding structure, plus a sandbox, has multiple toys lying around that the kids would love. Free parking. Has a large field beside it that can be used f9r dogs, free play, etc.
