Really good product selection it’s a good place to go for hair stuff there’s like five other hair beauty store in the same area but this one is the best when it comes to price, it’s affordable and they always have sales. But what one thing I will say is that they need to stop selling lightening product lightning skin product because it’s just harmful for everyone it’s not good to have those type of products in store. I went there for like one hour and there were five woman five black women that were asking for light skin product for themselves and KIDS! and I felt so ashamed that they were willing to pay so much money just for their skin to be lighter; one woman had a dark skin face but her hands were white. This need to stop, please love your skin, yourself.
One of the unique place in Montreal for anyone into afro styling, hair and accessories. They have expanded, more brands, more products, more varieties but unfortunately customers services and organization haven’t improved much. Beside thoses low points, feel free to pass by and get to know more details on anything for hair, body, face and anything useful or stylish to upgrade your look. Prices can go from decent to extreme so be careful. Watch out for over prices products or in bad shape bruised, dusty or even broken. Also, close parking is a headache. Hoping they renovate and upgrade service and it can become an undeniable address for hairstylists everywhere…
Probably the best shop for Afro hair products on st-Hubert plaza. They have a great choice for hair lotions, oils and braids. The shop is pretty big with a hair salon at the back and is easily accessible via Metro if you get out at Jean Talon station. The service is ok, the cashier was polite and the rest of the staff does their job. It is a bit hard to get good advices on products since the staff doesn’t seem to have the knowledge. The manager was a bit rude. They still have a lot of efforts to do to provide a good service.
Staff is very nice! Price for extension is good : and there is a LOT of choice. it’s my favorite hairdreser. The black girl are very sweet :
Older man working there whose shirt barely buttoned had the audacity to make weird fat phobic comments as I was checking out. Completely out of pocket for no reason. I went to pay and as I walked up to the cash he asked si j’ai bien manger. I asked him to repeat cause I knew there was no way he said that since et hey clearly do not sell any food there and he repeated himself clearly and asked again if I had eaten well.... I just ignored it and paid for my stuff so I could carry on with my day. He then bagged my stuff but left one package of hair on the counter hoping i wouldn’t notice??? really weird energy in there. As much as I prefer to shop at Black and Brown-owned businesses as much as possible, I unfortunately won’t be going back to this store.
It’s the Amazon of black hair care. They have everything! Every product you see on Pinterest and YouTube, local brand, African brand, American brand, they’ve got it all. The staff is friendly and gives you good advice. It’s a crowded place, but I love the African home feeling of it, like a bazar
I always have an excellent service when I go to this store. The employees are nice and very helpful! I really hope that soon they will open another store at another location!
Great services, customer service is good. The prices are good and they are open 7days a week. If you're looking for a product that is usually in the US, you will find it there at the best price.

Has literally everything you could possibly want for hair! They've even ordered in specific wig colours I was asking for. Staff is helpful and the owners always remember who I am. Best prices on braiding hair and wigs in the city
