I mailed Rick to ask about a few outlets that mysteriously stopped working and he mailed me back promptly to arrange a visit the next day. The electrician, Jeff, arrived when promised and quickly diagnosed + fixed the problem, super efficient. Totally happy with the experience. Thanks Jeff!

Rick did an excellent job installing ceiling new lights and rewiring some old outlets that were installed in 1947. Great recommendations on what lights to use and how many outlets/amps needed for the room as it currently is and potential future uses adding fireplace/etc. Still can’t believe how fast they were able to complete the job. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome company to do business with! I had this company run service to 3 rooms in my home during February 2018 and we had no negative issues with them at all. Rick is a straight shooter, knowledgeable and hard worker, is courteous and is reasonably priced. If you need a good electrician who shows up on time and completes the job in a timely manner then you owe it to yourself to give Rick Steffens Electric a call.

Called Rick at 6:10 am for an emergency, he said he would be here in an hour and he was! Told us basically what we already knew and fixed the immediate issue quickly and got our power back on in time for us to leave for work. More work needs to be done. At this point, I am pretty sure we will have Rick complete the project.

Rick is great! Was always quick to respond whenever we had an issue. He did our electrical and lighting when we redid our basement! Very reasonable and doesn't bs or try to make you pay for what you may not need.

With so many electricians to pick from I based my decision on the google reviews. Great experience start to finish. Rick did a great job. Quickly and at a fair price. Look to him for any of your electrical needs.

One of Rick's guys came to my elderly mother-in-laws's condo for less than 15 minutes. He determined the problem was a faulty refrigerator and not the outlet. He did no repair work and left within 15 minutes. My mother-in-law was charged $120. No where is it listed that there is a "$120 charge just to walk in the door." We understand minimum costs to send guys out to a site. But $120 for less than 15 minutes? The guy who came to the condo could have at least offered to stay for the full hour and check other electrical outlets or install her new wireless thermostat etc. But he left saying he didn't think she'd be charged for anything. When I suggested to Rick that his employee could have offered to stay and finish the hour I was told they are so busy that he had to hurry on to his next job - which makes it sound like the next job overlapped and paid $120 for the same hour. Not cool.
