I recently traveled from California to Ontario, Canada, excited to spend the summer with a childhood friend in the Fort Erie area. Upon my arrival, I encountered some unexpected repairs needed for my vehicle. While it's an older model, ensuring its reliability and maintenance is my priority.nnMy friend recommended Rick at Rick’s Auto Repair, and I decided to take the plunge and trust someone new. Given the distance I traveled from California, it seemed like a sound choice, and I was optimistic about having a positive experience.nnI understand the importance of building strong relationships with service providers for effective cost management and quality service. By working with Rick, I've connected with a reputable professional and developed a solid sense of trust.nnI’m pleased to report that the repairs were completed flawlessly and that the pricing was very reasonable. His shop has ample parking, and my vehicle was returned to me promptly.nnFinally, the variety and price range of vehicles in his parking lot speak volumes about his clients' confidence in his expertise and level of service. Very poor trade practice. I myself and 2 friends have taken our vehicles there and I myself have taken more time going over both their vehicles to repair his work than the cheap price of his labour was worth. Both of their cars had dead batteries and a parasitic draw from his work. He connected a wire without even checking if it was an ignition or constant power. Both cars had exhaust dumps installed and a control module was included. I had to find this issue and move it to a 5 amp fused circuit on ignition power. Something as simple as using a test light to confirm something was missed and cost them $250 each for new batteries. I had him safety my vehicle and he smashed my rocker and denied it after I just rebuilt the entire car. Very poor workmanship. Unfortunately all people see is a cheap price. With that comes cheap labour
