It was the delicious smells emanating from this place that attracted our attention while strolling through Amherstburg. We discovered this casual, unassuming restaurant with the open kitchen, which served up outstanding, delicious Italian fare! The rice balls were great, and wish they bottled their house made salad dressing! It was a toss up between which was better, the lunchtime veal scallopini or the veal parmigiana as both excellent and so reasonably priced. Really excited for their patio to open in the warmer weather as their water front location is beautiful. Worth the short drive along the River from Windsor! A definite do-over!
First time to Windsor and my partner insisted on coming to Riccardo'ss for dinner. This place did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious with very good portions. Service was very good as well. I look forward to coming back in the summer and sitting outside in their very nice patio area.
I loved this place.. lovely staff.. greate atmosphere.. live music.. food and drinks were amazing.. can't wait to go again.. You might need reservation before coming. Parking: They have their own parking
Started with, Dusted Calamari Rings Roasted red bell pepper and garlic aioli Entrée, Chicken and Veal Parmigiana. Service was terrific, restaurant was completely full but the kitchen was able to handle it. The calamari rings were absolutely delicious, and the entrée chicken and veal Parmesan also came with a side of pasta you also have the choice of having it has potatoes and melody of vegetables your choice I chose the pasta. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I come here with my boyfriend every year for our anniversary and birthdays and every time, it's incredible! We always like to try different things on the menu and so far, we have loved everything we have tried. Plus the service is always impeccable and it has a nice, peaceful ambience. Beautiful views as it's on the riverfront as well. 10/10 recommend!

Typically I and my wife like to be seated against the wall. This evening with close friends, found us in the middle of this intimate Italian family operated restaurant. With the open kitchen, it sort felt like being in mom's kitchen back home. Relaxed and welcoming. The fare prepared by Riccardo and his very competent line cooks was found to be as close to perfect as one would want. Our wait staff were attentive, pleasant and engaging. Keeping a close eye on our progress throughout the evening, but by no means making us feel rushed. We certainly look forward to ur next visit.
Excellent food, really delicious. Waitress was attentive and quick. The only thing is I found the table placing a little odd. It's hard to describe, but as soon as I walked in and saw the single table by the door and the tables along the bar, it just seemed odd. Definitely won't stop me from going back though, because the food is worth it. People have raved to me about Riccardo's and they certainly weren't wrong!
