Situated on what I call the main street of Taber this quaint little restaurant is quit a gem. I've swung by many times previously but at times they were not open. Today we checked the times and went when they were open and very glad we did. The food was bursting with flavour. I had the red curry chicken, just a good enough spice to make my nose run and heat to enjoy. Each dish tastes as made with freah veggies. All of our meals were delicious, and the portions were more than enough. I took half of mine home to enjoy later. We also had toquitos with refried beans, the pasta special penne, and rancheros. Will we come again? Absolutely.
We stopped here for lunch based on a recommendation, home made pasta and mexican dishes. I had the rice chicken rice bowl, it wasn't what I was expecting, it literally was just chunks of chicken on rice with finely chopped green onions. Based on other rice bowls I have had at other places I was hoping for other vegetables, overall not bad but wouldn't order it again. I will go back and try something else.
Fabulous!!! Amazing selection of a variety of dishes! Home cooked food! You can taste the difference! A little more expensive than our local BP's but know you get 2 meals from one entree!!! There's always enough for a nice lunch the next day and it reheats wonderfully in a non Styrofoam container!!!! The people there are friendly caring and helpful! They love food but the absolutely adore their customers! If you ever need a pick me up, they always have a kindness or compliment to cheer your world!!! Go see them NOW!!!
We are from Saskatoon and this was our second time here, we made it a point to stop in on our road trip and again we had a great time with great food.
First of all, I think for a small town Taber the prices are high. If it was absolutely amazing food, the prices could be justified. I didn't think the food was amazing however. Second of all, the restaurant has 2 main cuisines. I think this is their second mistake. It is better to do one thing well, then two things not so well. I think Mexican & Italian is an odd mix anyway. We both had a Mexican dish, but it definitely was not the best Mexican food I have ever had. I will most likely never eat here again. The chef/owner was very personable, helpful, & knowledgeable, which is the only reason why we stayed. We were going to leave after looking at the menu options and prices, but he came over and spoke with us. The restaurant was very clean, as well as the bathrooms and charming too, which we appreciated very much.
Ordered the Tuscan Bread soup and it was simply amazing. Very flavorful. I also had the chicken tortellini with one of the spicier sauces out of the available 15. Wow that had some kick to it. Also a great dish. I'll have to come again to try some of the other menu items.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The portion was large, but i insisted i finish it all! Dipping my bread at the end through the sauce on my plate was heavenly! Bon appetite! Friendly service, delicious supper!
This was my first time here. I order the Pulled pork Quesadillas. It was very delicious and the portion size was just right. The restaurant is a smaller size and somewhat hidden. You won't notice it unless you are looking for it or if you are from here. The waitress was fast to take my order and my food came within a reasonable time. I will return to try something new.
I found the food delicious and the serving to be just the right size. The service was great. A great little home style dining experience. Well worth the drive from lethbridge.
Received the best banana bread I’ve had with my order. Blown away every time. Everything tastes delicious and the owners are so sweet. So worth a visit!
