Wow, what a great breakfast! We were visiting Courtenay and I have a thing for trying out little coffee shops/bistros for brunch. We heard that the Benny's here were the best in town and I can definitely agree with that. The hollandaise sauce was top notch and they were generous with it. My husband had a traditional breakfast and loved it as well. The eggs were perfect and the hash browns/fried potatoes were amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy while still having ample space for patrons. Staff were friendly and efficient as well. We had a snow storm the night before and a lot of places were closed so I'm glad we had a chance to come here. Will definitely come back when we visit again.
Staff was nice, nice service! The coffee and breakfast selection is quite good. The Comox Benny was tasty. Love the smoked salmon and toasted croissant, gives it a nice light crunch. The arugula has a great compliment in flavour. Only problem was that there was way too much hollindaise sauce and my medium pouches eggs were more like soft Pouched that the croissant became way too soggy way too quickly, what a shame because the this was almost a next level eggs Benny.
We ordered avocado bacon eggs benedict and Montreal skillet with drip coffee. The food tastes were great and very nice atmosphere. Toasts came with jam on a side, I forgot to ask it’s flavour probably raspberry??, but it was very tasty, not too sweet and sour. I think it was locally made jam not like jams you get at big chain grocery stores. Every servers were very friendly. We enjoyed having our brunch here. No wonder why everyone left good reviews for this restaurant!
I haven't even enjoyed my meal yet, and giving 5 stars... Why? - because the service and vibe are top notch. I came in first thing in the morning, the girls were the sweetest and super quick AND my drink was top notch! I'm incredibly specific and have high standards.. so I'm so thrilled to find a cafe that makes stellar drinks with a lot of different options and flavors - really unique combination as well I then decided to come for lunch- walked in on an insanely busy Saturday for take out--+ everyone working handled it with grace and charm. My new fave spot ... Can't wait to eat. Omnomnomnom

Absolutely incredible food! The service is impeccable! The new owners have only been here for 18 months, but they have created a wonderful sense of teamwork and pride among their staff. Well done! Highly recommended!!!

When here for breakfast and another time just for coffee and both times it was good and staff where pleasant. They have a variety of it’s that a normal coffee place would plus some items a regular restaurant would have. Good place to stop by for a coffee and a snack.
as someone who puts frank’s hot sauce on everything unfortunately they do not carry it however I was 100% satisfied They make their own hot sauce and at first I was stumbled to try, but the owner insisted and gave it a shot and wow i was amazed by the smokiness and the flavors, i poured it on my whole plate. they sell it as well:! Service is always kind and warm, potato’s are real tasting, for someone who enjoys shredded. many drink options as well.. I am happy that they close later than most breakfast places do as this town has not much open. Hollandaise is buttery but yummy with the hot sauce, thank you for all your hard efforts and prices are amazing for the portion!!! give it a try, 10/10, value, service, food. They really do the most and everyone should appreciate them.
We walked by the shop when they were closed and the owners invited us in anyway to look around. Today we went back to buy coffee. Staff were all very friendly, coffee was great. Had a nice chat with the owner who told us all about the various coffees they roast instore and gave us some to try. So nice to find a family run local business. Definitely going back!
