Today I picked up my package from the post office here. It's not so busy on a Sunday, only 2 people ahead of me. The wait was short because the lady organized the lineup and provided an efficient service. When it was my turn, she greeted me with a friendly smile, took my tracking ticket and brought me the pack.
Staff in the beauty section is very rude. I went there to buy some regular makeup products. I was looking through the nail polishes and just choosing shades. The lady who looks over that section came from nowhere and started telling do not try the nail polishes. Whereas I was just going through the shades. The nail polishes were $2 off from the regular price. She again started telling “ it’s $2 off from the reg price. Read the price tag before touching”. As if I didn’t understand what was written on the price tag. I didnot even ask for her assistance either as it was not needed. But she started saying those stuffs only out of her imagination. Her tone was really rude. Rexall is certainly loosing customers because of such unprofessional behaviour by staffs
My experience is directed to the Canada Post they have there. There is no customer service whatsoever, no effort to do a good job and the one lady that works there is so miserable. She is rude and unhelpful. The manager is just as unhelpful and for letting this store run like this with these employees. No accountability. If you can avoid going there, do so.
I like this Rexall location and been shopping here for years. Friendly staff. Locations offers good specials and if you have the Rexall App it is even easier to save more on purchases. Doesn’t seem to have much selection compared to an equivalent Shoppers, but usually has more specials on commonly purchased items. My one major complaint about the location is that the post office staff at this location seem to be on rude and unhelpful side. So if you mailing items I suggest going to another location.
The pharmacy is horrible here. They have an app where you have the option to fill out your prescriptions ahead of time and they don't even honor the requests from it. I have ordered medicines from 2, 3 days prior on more than just one occassion mind you and arrive the date entered only to find myself waiting for my prescription, how does that work exactly?! It's constant, it's agitating and sadly I am in the process of looking for another pharmacy to work with. Beware of Mildred and Judy, they are both from the same motherland and help eachother cover one and others mistakes and have zero sense of being sorry or taking accountability for those said mistakes! MG was a great asset to this pharmacy but sadly she went on MAT leave and never returned... So was I believe her name was Nadine? Not quite sure, but another wonderful, attentive lady! The male Pharmacist that works there as well is very much more in tune with the people than those ladies put together, he's a younger Asian male, handsome, and although I rarely see him, and after having an encounter due to those said names, we found a common ground, he defused the situation and we seem to be on the right path. This review does NOT reflect other employees that work there, it is strictly towards the pharmacy part of the store, thank you!!
Post office workers extremely rude and not helpful. Very dismissive....if you can go to another location please do. You will get better service and not be disrespected.
I believe the women is a tall east asian, who works there is kind of rude ngl. My mom and I felt a little uncomfortable trying to shop at Rexall in makeup aisle. I get its just her job but no need to make side jokes at the cashier place because she thinks I opened the lipstick bottle which I absolutely did not btw. I heard you the first time when you told me that and I didn't know at that time. I came out of there fast as I could because it was embarrassing. It doesn't kill you to be nice to people and speak in a good tone. I don't write bad reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I have had at Rexall.
My husband, who was rushing to get me and my son meds, just popped in half an hour ago to get us NyQuil, NeoCitran and some throat lozenges…and the man in the cash DIDN’T GIVE A RECEIPT OF ANY KIND for the transaction. Not even for the credit card. Shady and very poor customer service too
An employee made my sister cry. Last Saturday Oct 1st me and my sister visited this location because I needed to pick up a few things. We went to the makeup aisle as I needed a new lip liner. My sister swatched one or two lip liners to help me find a shade, as she thought they were testers. An employee comes up to her and says "are you serious?" and begins to berate her, even after she profusely apologizes for her mistake. The employee brought up COVID-19, which was every contradictory as she was not even wearing a mask herself whereas my sister was. Other stores selling cosmetics like sephora, Mac, shoppers etc have makeup testers avaible so it's not like she was totally in the wrong for assuming there were testers available. At the end of this employees rant she says that she can't sell these products anymore and says my sister has to pay for these products now. She told us to continue shopping and then come to her counter to check us out. My sister went to a different aisle in the store and started bawling her eyes out as she was do ashamed and embarrassed. In the end when we checked she said that we didn't have to pay for the products but to come to her next time and ask first before trying to swatch anything. After making my sister embarrassed and cry her eyes out we will not be returning to this location. It's absolutely horrendous and preposterous that workers here would berate and treat customers like this over a small misunderstanding.
Probably the worst Canada Post Office location. The lady working there NEVER answers the phone. I tried calling to confirm if my passport had arrived and no one answered the phone ALL DAY. So I called the Rexal number to ask if someone was working and they said the person was busy and they said thr post office closes at 6 on a Saturday. So I thought maybe I can call in an hour and still no answer. And I tried calling every hour and still no answer. So I went in at about 5:50 to pick up my passport since I was in the area and the lady working looked so miserable and said flat out they're closed. But I said the rexal employee said you're close at 6 and she pointed to her own written sign that I had taken a picture of. So I returned the next day to pick up my passport successfully. So I thought I would try calling while I was in the aisles to test out if she would pick up and of course she doesn't.
