I always feel like I've been transported to some far-away island every time I come here. Love the drinks! Love the staff! And the music is always really good too. So glad this place exists in Des Moines.
Definitely a good tiki bar and it does compete with bell hop tiki in the east village. I'm surprised it is less busy being on court avenue when compared with bell hop though. The bartender was very good in explaining the drinks and meeting your needs in making the best drink possible. Definitely worth the spot for your bar hoping as well
I am a restaurant owner from Austin, Texas. This concept was phenomenal. I would suggest making sure your bartender is Steven. He will make the experience what it’s meant to be. He creates a tropical experience but also inclusive of everyone. From the music, to Steven’s pure spirit of making sure you enjoy your time here! I will be back again!

Great tiki style drinks and a cool vibe. Also great service our first time here! Updated review - we have been back to this place many times and always enjoy. Cocktails are fantastic creative tiki style and are very well made. Service is usually very good. Note - this place is the same location and business as Blue Sushi, so if you want sushi after or before your revival house cocktails this is a great option! Revival house does have a very limited food/snack menu.
Came here with a big group for a birthday party. Laid back vibe good drinks. Aubrey did a great job accommodating our large party
Drinks were good but definitely not cheap. Good atmosphere & music was entertaining. Bar tenders were attentive. Would drop in if I was in that kind of vibe and in the area.
Steven was amazing! Loved the atmosphere and the cocktails. Fun night spot. Didn’t eat but plan to return to try the lettuce wraps!
This place is amazing! They've gone full out on the tiki bar theme and the decor totally transports you to an island paradise. The playlist is perfectly curated to set the vibe. The cocktails are on theme, delicious, and only add to the fun! My recommendation is to order the lettuce wraps--so flipping good! Steven, behind the bar, is absolutely delightful. He is attentive, has great recommendations, and provides stellar service. I highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back!
Love the drinks, ambiance, and seating set-up, good service, and Des Moines really needed a classic tiki bar downtown. We did have to leave after one drink though because of the blasting a/c— I’ll definitely be back but bring a jacket
