Rev. H. J. MacDonald School

This school is absolutely outstanding. My sister attended here her 7th grade year. She moved up to North Carolina from Ohio and everyone welcomed her and treated her like she was one of them. All the staff was extremely helpful with helping her with her work making sure she understood the concepts of the work they were giving all of the students, and so she could keep good grades. They were loving and caring for her and I feel every school in Craven County should be this way towards their students.

Hi Macdonald is honestly the best middle school in craven county. The teachers work hard with each student and never gives up on us.The encourage us to strive for excellence in all our academics. The school is just a great environment and good workplace, all the staff treat each other with kindness and respect and us students too. I attended Hj Macdonald Middle for 6th 7th And now I’m in 8th grade and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Hj Macdonald Middle School Sincerely Latyah Short 8th grade student

I hope these reviews are not written by actual students at HJ. These kids speak and write like they have never gone to school. There's definitely a breakdown somewhere in our society. If this is acceptable than we are in for a dismal future.

I'm a student at HJ and its the most lit school in craven county. But the thing is we learn and have fun at the same time.

Wadup this camiya, and I use to go to h.j and that's the most litest school in new bern but now I go to grover cwhich is where I don't want to be at and I miss all my peoples at h.j

H J is an amazing middle school. Well even though my uncle is my principle its still a fun school
