Tried to find vegan food in Village Vacartier after spending time on the slopes. Found only one place with a single dish. Even that was not up to the mark and the rice was full of vinegar and sour. Sent the dish twice and finally just ate it as no option for my 5 year old grand daughter. The fries and onion rings were also fried in the same oil which they used for frying chicken and fish. They had spaghetti but that was also with meatballs. It’s not Difficult to Cater to people dietary preferences and wished they could make food which is allergy free. Looks nice and kids friendly with the jungle theme but not for Vegan Vegetarian people. Would not go back.
The food here was awful and it's expensive. The atmosphere is horrible and there were so many flies that we didn't even want to stay but unfortunately your options here are limited. I recommend driving back to Quebec for a meal. Took a nice picture of our friendly flies. Stay away!
Had both breakfast and dinner at Safari while staying at Valcartier and would not recommend. Overpriced. Fish and chips seemed like grocery store frozen fish! Service was good but doesn’t make up for the poor food. Would recommend driving down the street to Pub St Gab much better!
Honestly, to avoid at all cost. We sat at our table and we waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come see us and offer us water. Then proceeded to wait another hour to have our food, which was plain and disgusting, without counting incredibly over priced for what it was. During that hour, we saw our server only once, and we had to actively seek her to have more water. The staff seemed to be running away from customers. The manager or what I believe was the manager from what she was doing was straight disrespectful to some staff and was straight unprofessional in some comments we could hear from our table. Honestly, don’t eat there. Only reason it is still open is because it is in the water park. Bring your own lunch to the water park. Do not loose two hours of your time in this restaurant.
The food was horrible. Save your money and go somewhere else. They were the only restaurant open at the resort so they serve sub par food. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish from a box at a supermarket would be 10 times better than this. We ordered a club sandwich, two hamburgers and the fish and chips. Total cost $113.00 not including the tip. You've been warned trust me don't go.
Good breakfast and service Prices are normal for Quebec
We had a reservation for 715pm. We arrived early and waited in the line with other people also waiting with a reservation. After half an hour all the people behind us have been seated just because they are only accepting people with four seats. There are many tables for five or six people empty but the employees don’t want more people apparently. We told them we could split to sit faster. They don’t care. All people in the restaurant have sad or frustrated faces. Clearly service is terrible and the employees are also frustrated. Nobody cares. Worst place in Quebec. We just left to another place.
Not a great restaurant. The service is ok but the food is not. The problem is that if you want to eat in the hotel, you don't have lots of choices. Uninspired plates. Lots of deep-fried stuff.Food: 2/5
Food was good. A bit slow service but probably because of same labour shortage as everywhere. Some flies around. Food came before drinks but drink was good. A bit expensive but normal price for "vacation" location.
1 start is too much for this restaurant! A old lady totally forgot our food, so we waited more than 1 hour!! We eventually got food because we asked for it!!! They even not wroth one cent tips!!!!
