I was there for a car show at some point and had brought my car. I decided to walk over and eat here, and as it turns out, it was some of the most authentic poutine I've ever eaten. Nice people -I spoke half French/half English and no problems understanding me or any of that "Ont parle francais icit" stuff. Super cool and down to earth employees. Every time I'm in the area -which is maybe only once a year- I stop by and pick up a poutine. It's a true classic poutine experience, and their prices are reasonable.
Good food. Extremely friendly staff. Try their smoked meat hamburger.
Love or hate the Premier, the poutine at Le L'Assom is in my top 3 ever. The fries are from local potatoes and are crispy yet fluffy on the inside. The sauce is... there's something about the sauce that is really good, miles above the rest! If you're in the area, go. You won't be disappointed.
We went here earlier today on a Saturday afternoon for a big poutine. Good price, really generous amount of cheese and sauce. The cheese was super fresh and squeaky. Classic poutine.
We drove about an hour from montreal and it was well worth it. My partner is celiac and has not enjoyed a worry-free meal like this in a while. Friendly staff. Good poutine and toasted hot dogsthats all we had.
I crossed this resto off my list since Legoat was there, I cannot stomach the food anymore! Yikees
