Great place to stop on the way to Quebec City. We stopped on a Sunday, at 12:30. The place was packed, but it is small, so bear that in mind. There were three of us. Two went for breakfast egg dishes, one for a lunch salad. It's amazing what can be accomplished in that tiny kitchen. Meals were delicious. Service was a bit slow, but considering how crowded it was, it's understandable. I would highly recommend this this restaurant for couples traveling from the states to Quebec City. It's a great midway point. If you have time, check out the great river waterfront this town has to offer.
NO WAY THIS IS A 4.5 rating!!! Ate here and give it three stars and being generous. Soup was watery, pizza was two stars …in fact ONE STAR since was awful and tasted like frozen pizza from a box! Salmon tartar was good but VERY small portion. Avoid this place since simply not good or memorable in any way.
I had invited the couple of hosts who hosted me for the weekend to lunch for a choral concert. After finding out that a Portuguese restaurant they loved was closed, we went to L'Entracte. There we were drawn to their choice of sausage duos, along with an "authentic Slovenian sauerkraut". I knew German or Alsatian sauerkraut, but Slovenian? It was more cabbage than sauerkraut, red rather than yellow, sweet rather than vinegar. It was surprising, but very good nonetheless, and plentiful. Very good service too, despite the late hour around 3pm to 4pm.
This restaurant is a gem. I had their two sausage dish, quite frankly, rather skeptical it would be anything special, but the nice waitress said their sausages are their specialty, and they did not disappoint. I liked the French sausage with paprika. Unique, tasty. The veal German sausage was also tasty. They make a good creme brulee too. Service was friendly and bilingual. Also, an attractive setting and good location. Nice restaurant and I would return!

The entrees came with soup I choose lentil soup and a small mixed-greens salad with dressing. We both opted for raspberry vinaigrette, and enjoyed how light it was with just a touch of sweetness. I got the seafood crepe and my husband ordered the mushroom crepe, and we shared. Both crepes were fantastic! The melted cheeses were creamy and smooth, and the crepes themselves were the perfect texture--not too thin and not too thick.
Great food, cute unique place. The soup of the day was fantastic!
Price is too high for what we have, and food is just normal.
Nice place good food.
