Visited about a month ago while staying at a beach house nearby. We walked in, the indoor tables were ALL empty. There were probably half tables on the balcony empty. The servers took one look at us and told us to wait. After whispering quietly to each other, they said there was no space. I don't know if it was because I am Asian my husband is Quebecois Caucasian, because we were speaking English, or if it was because we had 2 kids with us but it was made extremely clear that we were not welcome there. There was no explanation provided. I was shocked.
Aug 25th,2022 VISITING FROM Oakville ON. Met up with a few girlfriends at this restaurant. We waited 1.5 hours to be served. Ordered a Caesar and tempura shrimps. Shrimps were soggy, no crisp. My girlfriend's hamburger was medium rare undercooked. The caesar was good. But overall experience was extremely disappointing. The ferry ride from Hudson was the only redeeming part of the evening. Would not recommend. Patricia
Beautiful 23$ margherita pizza cooked in a brick oven. Fries were in a cone and salted perfectly. We were seated at a lovely spot outside. The staff was really nice too. And as a bonus they accept the band card.
Food was no flavor plus even though we were the only ones in the restaurant it took them 1hr45 min to serve us our meal .then just before serving it they tell us that they only have 1 portion of spaghetti so we need to switch our pasta choice then theirs barely any ingredients and mostly pasta.. waitress was nice but it doesn't make any sense why they would be open if they aren't ready to serve twhen I said their was mo pesto on my plate they said it was liquid. The bread was cold and stale just terrible and offered no discount basically sent us packing ...NEVER COMING AGAIN don't waste your money
Nice spot. Service was slow but friendly. It was evident that all the employees were working very hard. The food smelled delicious and was clearly made to order. The steak was excellent if a bit pricy. The burger and fries were very good. Thought we might leave hungry but the fries were plentiful though I really would have loved a few seasonal veggies or a salad included. On the terrasse the sound was really amplified and over bearing at times depending who was near by. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but I wouldn't be dissapointed to go back either. Felt very safe with covid measures in place.
Ate here tonight and food was good. Unfortunately this is another restaurant happy to take my money but don't like doing the washing up. I was told to use the same cutlery for starter and main course. More and more restaurants are trying this on set of cutleryffor all courses, what has happened to basic dining etiquette. I showed my disgust by not leaving a tip and will not return
Great place to eat in Oka. Service was excellent, very attentive by owner's wife. There were 4 of us who had their pizza, prepared in a wood fired brick oven. Very tasty and good portions but not overwhelming. I had the smoked salmon pizza with salad. Great view from the patio overlooking the harbour and historic church.
Seasonal restaurant, popular with Oka tourists, but exceptionally great food! Meals are cooked in a fireplace oven. You can order dishes from burgers & fries to chicken & salad. Worth checking out!
We had pizza and pasta. Very good pizza and full of stuff on it. Get there early otherwise you will be waiting since there only one waiter.
Had a pulled beef poutine. Very delicious. We're going back again. Nice area to take a walk outside after...nearby warf. Pretty town
