Restaurant Umami

I am so happy there’s a spot for vegan ramen in Montreal! We had the Miso, Kimchi and Tantanmen ramen. They were all good but if you especially like a kick of spice and a thick flavoursome soup then I would go for the Tantanmen. The Miso is lighter and more digest. The Kimchi is quite tomatoey.

Loved the Ume Sour cocktail, though a little miffed that they’re cocktails are more expensive than their ramen. They’re Shoyu ramen was full of flavour... a little too filled with with flavour, they fight with ear other. But regardless, a nice spot, and as a meat eater, pleasantly delicious.

Lovely rear patio but slow service. Menu items sound delicious on paper but I think they use too many ingredients with strong flavours.

Very good food. The wait staff were experts of the wines, and beer served. Excellent dining experience! The flavours were very good. Most importantly, all vegan.

As usual, SPECTACULAR KimChi Ramen bowl! I would go daily! Tried the dumplings and some VEGAN DONUTS to go! OMG! I created some new fans for this place tonight!

Love!!! The staff is so friendly, the food is delicious, and the place is beautiful.

Hidden in little Italy, an izakaya with authentic Japanese flavors and private sake imports. Highly recommended!

If I could, I’d eat here every day of the week! I’ve tried various items on their many and it never disappoints ! Very nice staff too
