Restaurant Solymar Laval

I went to Solymar twice in September for two different birthday parties, and both times were amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, I’m a huge seafood lover, and everything I tried was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked.nThe atmosphere is fun, festive, and full of great energy. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel like you’re celebrating something, even when you’re not! I’m already looking forward to going back again. Def recommend!

That is not my first time to visit Solymar but I have no clue what happened , I always order medium T-bone steak , today 4 plates came and all of it is well done , after waiting another 30 min. They gave me rib steak and the waiter were insisting it is a T-bone , I accepted as we were starving , still it want medium, this time were rare as you see in the photos , I asked for the manager , after waiting for 10 min . They replied he is not available at the moment!!!!!nI really don’t know what happened with them it wasn’t like that .

The food was overall good, the beef could’ve been more to my taste, but still decent. The place wasn’t too busy, yet the service was really slow and communication with the waiter was a bit of a challenge! But hey, it was an experience!

Everything was amazing, I've been eating at the original place for a couple of decades now. I'm a big fan and I was excited to see the new location. I wasn't disappointed with food and atmosphere, the only thing I was disappointed about was they did not have TAP to pay. It's 2024, I rarely carry my cards with me. Luckily I was with someone who I was able to e transfer and pay for big bill.

This restaurant is huge, yet it is well-managed and efficient. Some of the dishes seem to be simple but turned out to be very tasty. For example, the mixed seafood soup and the steamed grouper fillet with beer velouté sauce have always been the must-order items on each visit. This place is surely on my list of frequent visited restaurants.
