This place is great! The food is fresh and tasty, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve been eating here for many years since I was a little kid and they’ve never let me down. Try the bacon cheeseburger with a poutine on the side and you’ll be a very happy diner!

Sauve's used to have the best poutine ever. I could microwave it when it was two days old and the fries would still be crunchy. When I went there today, the oil was dirty and my fries were black. It wasn't awful but it was pretty average. We ordered a hamburger and hotdog as well, they were good.
I've been going to Sauves since the 80s. Not is it only the epitome of what a Casse-Crout should be but it also has the best poutine in Quebec hands down. The fries. The gravy. The cheese. Amazing.
Delicious little spot. Perfect comfort food, burgers hotdogs, poutines, fried chicken strips, they have it all. Tastes fresh and delicious and I'm not sure how they their gravy but it's absolutely delicious. 10/10

I gotta give 5 stars because this place deserves well above a 4.3 rating. It has changed management this past year and wowow these guys can do no wrong. Very solid. Fries are bomb. Burgers are a hit. If you ask, they will put fried onions on everything. Prices super reasonable. Staff are super nice. What a gift. See you soon! Update: they’ve been closed for maintenance since dec it’s been crushing. Please open soon!!!

First time visiting. Food was affordable portion was great A little long for wait time but totally worth it. And the staff were really nice.
A classic and must do if in Hudson. Nothing like a burger and poutine.
