Restaurant La Place

It's just ok. Typical cheap food.nnLots of parking.nLots of place to sit inside BUT confusing when you enter and the restaurant is split in two. You figure it out eventuallywhen youre not being served. Left side you have no service, you go get your own food and drinks and seat yourself. Right side you have a waitress. Not sure why they do this.nnThe service I have always had is very good.nRight in town.

It was like going back in time. Everything was fantastic. Food was great and the service was excellent. Wish we had found this place years ago.

We had club sandwiches, cheeseburgers, poutines, and cheese sticks. Everything was good, nothing to complain about. The cheese sticks were surprisingly flavourful, though I suggest dipping them in gravy than the supplied marinara sauce.nAlso, the rum and comes were on the weak side but they got stronger the more we ordered.nWe ate outside on their terrace with our dog, which was great since not many other restaurants have terraces with shelter from the rain.nOne of the guys we were with ordered extra sauce on his poutine but never got it.

They salted the rim of my bloody Mary with a delicious spice blend so I was very happy with my drink. The food was fresh and they use squeaky curds in their Poutine, which I like. Service was friendly and quick.

Nice little homely restaurant, open early for breakfast. We stayed here at the motel. Not scenic but very clean, and it looks like it's been renovated.
