Restaurant La Basse Cour

The food and service were amazing. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the volume of the restaurant. I have been to many restaurants in my day, but this one was very loud. I did love the decor, though. I will go back because of the food and AMAZING service.

So glad we stopped here - just a quick hop off the highway between Toronto and Montreal. If you need to fill the hunger gap with some carefully prepared comfort food, this is a great spot to add to your list. Their Eggs Benedict was delectable - rich hollandaise, extra special slow-roasted shredded ham tucked under the eggs - so good! My wife loved her latté and liked the nice touch of paté with her 2-egg breakfast, complete with rye toast. It's all fresh and it's all delicious. The menu is in French, but they can walk you through it.

Standard breakfast in a great decor. If you are on the highway to the ouest or east, it would be a good spot to stop.

The taste is very good and the plates are well served. Waitresses are super friendly and are always ready for whatever you need. I paid around C$25 each. Place is restrooms are always clean. Recommended.

It's a nice place. I didn't like the food , I ordered an omelette with jam and Swiss cheese and the cheese wasn't even melted. Tasteless and expensive
