This was the only restaurant open on a Monday night in the city, and it turned out to be a great find. We ordered the fish and chips, along with the shrimp and vegetable linguine. Both dishes were delicious, with generous portion sizes that left us fully satisfied.
The breakfast was tasty and good.nnWe had a very bad experience with the service.... the waitress karen took a long time to come and get our order....She never came back to offer more refilled coffee..nnThe other waitress was attentive , she always refilled the coffee, and she picked up the plates.. she always asked if everything was good.nnIt took a while for our waitress to bring our bill. Very slow service.
First time at Kano, we had the seafood chowder and the seafood poutine. The food was unfortunately slightly above average but the price reflects it 18-23$. I'd say a decent value. The interior decor is gorgeous, the restaurant faces bayside, however we went during the evening so no view for us. The single aspect that marked us was the amazing service, unfortunately we didn't catch the waitress' name. She was courteous, suggested the vest meals on the menu, and was very polite and professional.nThe only place open on a Monday evening in the whole area that serves decent food!
Food was great, and the decor is beautiful. The waitress was very nice, we waited a bit before being seated and to get our food, but the taste was worth it!
The ambiance and decor are like magic. The location offers a panoramic view and the menu can please everyone’s stomach. The customer service we experienced from the reservation desk to the end of our meal was A1. Don’t miss their lobster linguini and excellent crab cakes, as well as their deserts. Would love to go back already!
