The service was terrible, especially from a red-haired woman—her attitude was completely unacceptable. The food was also bad, and I couldn't find anything tasty. It's far worse than the Nan'an branch. I definitely won't be coming back to this place. The restaurant is huge with plenty of seating, yet they ignored customers, didn't seat us or make any arrangements, and their attitude was awful.
The place was packed! Shrimp dumpling were very good! The general tao and peanut butter dumplings were okay, not the best in the world but very satisfying and certainly hit the spot. Great pricing and service! Ill be back!
This restaurant proves that Google reviews should not always be blindly followed. We visited for Dim Sum on the advice of friends and family, and it is well worth the 20 km drive to the West Island. This is further away than Chinatown, but has plenty of parking available.nnThe food is amazing and made to order, unlike the pre-prepared dishes found at traditional dim sum places. Due to long lineups on Sundays, I suggest arriving within 45 minutes of opening. If you miss that window, arrive 60 minutes later, once the first wave of diners has finished.nDo not expect top-notch service; the staff is extremely busy.nnThe pic shows the line up outside, but there are about another 50 people waiting inside the restaurant.
Food. Delicious, fresh and hot.nService. Good to average. It’s often hard to get people’s attention especially when you’re trying to get sauces and dips etc.nAtmosphere. It’s nice and clean, however, it’s one big space and when busy can be a bit loud and lacking of personal space.nnThis is one of my preferred restaurants to have dim sum, including their south shore location.nnThey use an app ordering method requiring the customer to have a smart device to connect to their wifi and order the dishes one desires. I personally appreciate this as I don’t have to wait for a server unless I have a question about the food. I do love the old school model where people walk around with a trolly filled with foods and you just ask and they place it on your table like I’m china town, but this is so quick and easy and I don’t have to deal with china town traffic or parking.nnI found everything to be tasty, flavourful, properly filled with good amounts of filling, however, I do think the pricing is a little higher than it should be. I have had their Chinese foods here as well and found the food to also be very delicious but that’s for another review.nnAs usual, I will be coming back for more.
Had a good experience at Imperial Dim Sum. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. Service was smooth and the place felt comfortable. Prices are a bit higher than other dim sum spots, but the quality is there. Still a nice treat once in a while.
