I haven't eaten dimsum here yet heard good things, but foods from their dinner set menu were very fresh and delicious. Compared to other Chinese restaurants, this place is very clean and well-maintained.
Good dimsum for montreal. The fried dishes were very fresh and tasty. The fried calamari was super tender and the XO sauce fried turnip cake was very good. The rest of the food was also pretty decent. The service is very fast and we didn’t wait for more than 5 minutes for a table of 2 on a saturday around 1pm.

Have been here more than 10 times, 3 times for dinner and the rest for dim sum. The food is great, nothing to complain about.nnLove how big and filled the dumplings are for dim sum, and the fried milk is delicious. The menu could be bigger but every item I’ve tried, I’ve enjoyed. Expect at least a 30 minute wait time for dim sum on the weekend. Service isn’t great, but to be expected.nnFor dinner as well, the food is delicious, although portions are on the smaller side. Would definitely recommend for quality Chinese cuisine!
I’m very disappointed with my recent visit to Imperial Restaurant. I went with my two sons for what was supposed to be an enjoyable dim sum meal before they head back to school, but it turned out to be a very unpleasant experience.nnDespite being regular customers who consistently order more than the average lunch, the lady let us seated at a small, dirty table in a corner right next to the storage room we thought it was a garbage room and the owner said it is not at the end of the hallroom. The ambiance was far from what we expected for a family meal, and it felt like we were treated as if our loyalty to the restaurant didn’t matter at all. There are a few empty large tables. We came ahead of some others but got the table after them after waiting about 20 minutes.nnThe lack of cleanliness and the poor location of our table really dampened our spirits, especially considering it was a special outing for my boys before school starts again. They were clearly unhappy with the entire experience, and honestly, so was I.nnGiven the disappointing service and atmosphere this time around, I’m seriously reconsidering returning to this place in the future. Aug 29,2024nnUpdated on 25/12/2024 and 28/12/2024nI came back for dinner with my brother on Christmas Day. Despite the holidays, the restaurant is still open and the staff was quite busy and tired due to lack of resources. The food was good. The service is good though. The following days, I come back with my son, he has regained his interest in Dimsum and the services. So I am re-evaluating my review this year again.
