A hidden gem in Ste.Marthe sur le lac..wine at SAQ +5...great tasting food....it takes a little long for food to be ready but its worth the wait.. Bathrooms need to be cleaner but I got there at the end of the day so We'll see next time. Cheers!!Food: 4/5
$14 for 5 bites of an anorexic cannelloni. Everything else on the very small plate was empty sauce. All I did in the picture was slice it. Adding a star for the free bread. Without it I would have gone hungry. If you eat here, choose a pizza. The portion size is decent and seemed much better than this unfortunate selection.
Ok food portions, however tasteless, watery sauces on the meats, unseasoned vegetables & baked potato. Really not worth the money considering I spent almost 200$ for the meal & had to season most of the meal at home. The point of getting food from a expensive restaurant is because you think it is worth the tastes & experience, however this was far from the case. On the positive side, the only good thing about the meal was how quickly it was prepared, and the very nice girl answering the phone. I would not recommend this place & will not be returning.
We decided to get pizza from Farsa as we've seen good reviews about it. Pizza in a wood oven etc. I wanted a calzone, which I was disappointed with. For starters, it's a bit expensive for the size of it. Also, Pizza Hit's calzone's better than Farsa's. So you know what I mean when I say I was disappointed. For me, I was expecting something really tasty, a good amount of filler and a smooth dough. We also ordered pizza, not really worth for the price. The hype around "pizza done in a real oven" doesn't justify the price here. And honestly there is a better pasta restaurant just around the corner, where not only the pasta is better but the pizza is amazing. But again, you have to try and see. For us, not really worth for our money.
Good food. Local family owned business. Great fresh wood oven pizza. Great serviceFood: 5/5
Not enough atmosphere: the dining room is a bit too bare-bone. For the prices and the quality of food, the décor is not a match.
I don't see what all the fuss is about Farsa. I don't find the food extraordinary. The decor is old fashioned. The service is slow. A friend of ours ordered the ravioli and got 5 on a plate with some sauce. I ordered a Caesar salad and got pretty much the entire heart of it on my plate. Everything is a la carte. Way too expensive. I'd rather drive 40 minutes to down town Montreal and get something better for the prices that they charge.
You'll feel like you are Nonna's house. The food is excellent and very copious. The staff is great and prices are reasonable. I only wished they had a more extensive wine list.
service needs a bit of work. we had to pour our own wine from the first glass to the last. management is very kind and humble. food was good.
