It is a bit pricey , big portions almost all seafood dishes around $30 but you get quality I don't understand the design aesthetic of the restaurant , I ended up ordering almost all of the appetizer , and each one of them was unique!
Closed! We wanted to go today and google showed that it was open until 6pm, but when we arrived there it appeared that the restaurant is no longer in business. The signs have been removed. We tried to call a few times and nothing - no info on the status of business either. We asked the business across the street and they confirmed that they have closed. Hopefully they will find another local and start their business again. This is very unfortunate as it was a Great restaurant! Best of luck
Improvised a seviche at 5 pm and my wife being from Peru we had been here before many times. Service was prefect, food delicious and the bill came up to less than $50 for two. Unbelievable value and music is included. Highly recommended
I give this place a 4 because I was expecting more in the presentation of one of the appetizers we had. Beside that, this is not a fancy restaurant but the food is delicious here. We had choros a la chalaca, papa a la huancaina for appetizers and lomo saltado and jalea. The green onions in the lomo saltado were shopped a little too big to my taste but maybe its like that for that dish, I'm not really an expert. I recommend this place. The prices are good in proportion to the amount you get in your plate. The service is good.
Always great food. Very big portions. Price gets consistently higher but I guess you're paying for the bigger sized dishes.
I think the reviews are a little bit old and maybe not accurate... I dont know i had a fantastic experience very recently. I am not peruvian but ive been in Peru and that restaurant serves delicious authentic peruvian food. Its not cheap but where do you eat cheap seafoods in Montreal? Nowhere! Service was also fine!
The place is good, close to Jean-Talon subway. Easy to access. The restaurant has a lot of space, easy to move and to welcome a crowd. The food is great. But the service is slow and makes a lot of mistakes.
I went to this restaurant to celebrate Peruvian independence day. So I ordered "aji de gallina" that is may favorite Peruvien dish ,and 20 minutes later i received a very bad-prepared dish. Normally , boiled chicken is used to prepare "aji de gallina" but they served me a dish with pieces of grilled chicken Pollo a la brasa instead. Besides, they omitted some key ingredients. In brief, if you are looking for discovering Peruvian gastronomy , go somewhere else and avoid saint Hubert avenue.
Really good ceviche. I like this place
Eche Pa Echarle is my favorite Peruvian restaurant in Montreal! While the decor is nothing to write home about, it does the job. Don't expect white table cloths or a maitre'd, but it's the food that really counts. I would suggest the ceviche mixto, if you like seafood. The mixed BBQ is also great and very filling. Service is very friendly but it does take some time to get your food. However, all great food takes time.
