What a beautiful spot! First time visiting the area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds were so comfy I didn’t want to get up! Great location, IGA next door, water at the back. I would recommend and will be coming back for sure!!Rooms: 5/5
The place is very clean and the rooms are great. The price is fair and the location is amazing.. I also ate at the restaurant which was fantastic! 2 stars deducted for being yelled at in the morning by the rude morning manager with the pierced eyebrow. I was parked exactly as told when I checked in, but this guy went out of his way to argue with me at 7am. He's got to go!!
Arrived without a reservation and very happy to find they could accommodate us. Clean comfortable room with nice decor...comfy bed! Loved the location on the water and next to a grocery store. Auberge du Marchand also has a shared room with a kitchenette and seating. The restaurant is the perfect place for breakfast and lunch. Very hospitable and bilingual.
Very happy with my stay! I was happy to see that my room comfort room was very beautiful, clean & newly renovated! It had a very nice view on the ocean as well! My only complaints are that my device wouldn't connect to the free WiFi and that the TV could have had more channels. During my stay, I had dinner at the hotel's restaurant which was delicious! It had a decent selection of dishes made with ingredients produced locally! Overall, I am very pleased with my decision to stay at Auberge du Marchand and I would recommend it to anyone going in that area!
Great service, very polite. Indoor and outdoor dining and both is comfortable and beautifully designed. Its also properly equipped with the social distancing and sanitization protocol thats happening right nowadays. Oh, did I forget to mention the food is the-bomb-dot-com. Nailed it. Loved it!! Great place
I love the Auberge du Merchand - as a local, it's one of the best places for breakfast, lunch or supper. Vegetarian friendly and they do their best to speak English and they speak it very well. English and French menus available. Would recommend to tourists and locals who love good food!

We ate at the restaurant on site while driving through from Percé to Moncton. If you’re doing the same you have to stop at this place. Seldom do you EVER have a lunch as well prepared. This was certainly a meal as tasty as any I’ve ever had at any restaurant anywhere & I’m the fussiest diner on the planet
The staff was great as we had to make a change to our initial reservation. Had breakfast in the connected restaurant - solid and would stay again. Good rate in line with hotel location .
The place is very nice as an adapted large house into several rooms and a resaurant. The rooms are cozy but mine came with a coffee maker and refrigerator. The staff was only French speaking.
