Restaurant Chez MAI Lai

The food was as expected and we had great service. Only thing I would suggest to the owners is to add a some music. Other than that, great place. Parking: Seemed to have approximately 15 parking spaces Wheelchair accessibility: Yes Dietary restrictions: I wouldn't go there if I'm intolerant to gluten I am intolerant to lactose and I had no limitations

The food here is good and reasonably priced. The downside of the restaurant is the way they make you feel rushed. They ask you to choose your dessert before you've had your main dish. They're constantly checking to see if you've finished eating, and as soon as you're done they grab your dish and hit you with the dessert and the bill. Maybe they are trying to be efficient, but it makes you feel like they don't want you to stay very long.

We arrived with group of six looking for a table around 7:30PM. We were greeted by an older gentleman and asked how many people, we replied 6. Despite many tables available, we were rudely told restaurant is full and shooed away from restaurant as if we are beggars. Our family is rightly confused and felt this is the rudest person we have encountered during our visit in Quebec. Please stay away.

We were refused service at the door despite there being lots of tables available and arrived well before the closing time. We were quite literally shoo'ed away after being told the restaurant was full despite there being multiple tables available. A note to mention is that our group were all Asian, not sure if that affected anything but interesting observation to note. If you like being abused, then maybe Chez Mai Lai is your jam.

The best Vietnamese/Asian restaurant in Quebec City, the owners are very friendly and the food is very delicious,large portions and great price, oh forgot to mention you can bring your own wine! Can't beat it!!!

Service très vite....même Trop vite..la petite serveuse nous verifie de loin si ont est terminer pr amener suite de notre repas..trop c comme pas essaie je m'excuse 8 food is good Service is fast....too fast....relax... The little waitress is always checking from a far to see if we are finished so she can serve the next dish...when we go out to eat we like to take our time. ..all in all the food is good
