Tucked away on one of the quieter streets downtown, this is a gem! Attentive, friendly service with excellent food. The gazpacho, beef shoulder, and tuna crudo were excellent. Staff is bilingual and willing to suffer through your worst French. We had eaten at Roux & Pettigrew the night before and this place blew it out of the water. Highly recommend.
The food is not what it used to be. Everything tastes like it was prepared ahead of time. I used to have their food monthly about 7-8 years ago and it was always good. I go there yearly now and everytime it feels more and more like a chain restaurant. It feels like they are so focused on expansion that they forgot about their roots. Ive brought up the subject with my friends and they all think the same, some of them even completely gave up on eating here. I do not recommend this restaurant as of 2022.
Typical Québécois fast food restaurant. Friendly staff and good food.
