Restaurant Carole

I used to eat or order at Carole's an average of 3 times a week. In the last 3 years their prices skyrocketed. We ordered a large all dressed pizza for 3 of us last week to keep the cost low and brought our own wine. We splurged and shared a piece of cake. The total EXcluding tax and tip came up to $60. That's over 85$? I asked the waitress if there could be a mistake and she told me they were the cheapest pace in town and price of ingredients have gone up too? Well, She was trained right, but I'm sure she misunderstood. They now stand at the top of the pricey restaurant food chain in Hawkesbury, but the atmosphere is simply not worth the price Selling a small cheese pizza at over 18$ is simply unreasonable in Hawkesbury... as far as I'm concerned. But that's only my opinion. Overall, decent pizza but simply not worth the price anymore.

I was really impressed with this place. I had Chinese food tonight it was excellent. I'm not usually in Hawkesbury but I will definitely come back next time I'm going through. Service was excellent as well.

Had a salmon steak cooked perfectly. Excellent service My best friend wifey had chicken on a salad.

Good food, but could be a little bit more clean. But the food is great. 3 stars for the food and -2 for the hygiene.

Hamburger patty was so tiny compared to the bun. Was falling apart and a sloppy mess. The waitress was horrible. She wouldn't make eye contact with us. Gross food and unwelcoming staff.

Always stop for a bite when in the area! It's an amazing restaurant with delicious food, fun ambience, and kind staff! Definitely recommend.

Always have had issues. Go back to 2019 on my birthday. I sat down with my grandmother and we waited 20 minutes only for nobody to acknowledge us so I left. Yesterday we went, it was full so we waited our turn. A server or bus girl went to clean a table and we were told we could have it. Fast forward to 5 minutes later as were about to sit -- a server tells us "NO THAT TABLE IS FOR A GROUP YOU CANT HAVE IT." So guess what? We left. We waited our turn only for others to use the table we waited for. Horrible organization and service. Will never come back.

We placed a delivery order and the girl took down our info and hung up. After 1.5 hours we called back and asked when we could expect the food and she said “we never knew the room number at the hotel so we didn’t make it, do you still want it?” LOL why would you not call us back??? Brutal

Enjoyed the lunch menu and the soup provided. Meat loaf was great and the gravy was spot on and not to salty which I find happens often.
