One of the best places if not the best place to get a real quebecois poutine. Lots of curd cheese and homemade fries. Very well-known by locals. i'm currently living in Montreal and some of my friends from the city knew about that place!!! i was actually in shock that people living hours away would know about it!! there's even moving cow heads in the restaurant. a thing you can only see there!!

Simple food (nothing special) but this place is an institution.  The cows on the wall are worth the detour.

At most places that serve poutine, you are given more fries than cheese curds.  Here at Caillette, it's the opposite.  You'll have plenty of cheese curds after you polish off those fries.  The poutine is excellent and can safely rival the poutine at Ashton's in the Québec City area.

Poutine, ice cream, steamed hotdogs? We went twice in less than a week. Love everything about this place! Fresh cheese curds on poutine, you'll never find that in Calgary, AB!!
