This is my new go-to hotel when I visit Toronto. I stayed here last year and returned again July 2nd - July 6th 2026. This time, the rooms have been wonderfully renovated, the carpet even smells brand new. My understand is floors 17 thru to 21 have been renovated and they are working their way down to lower floors.nnBreakfast in the morning is more than adequate. Scrambled eggs, cheese omelettes, waffles one morning and pancakes the other morning, bagels, English muffins, bread, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, etc.nnEveryone at the hotel has been so friendly, especially housekeeping, who always wishes you pleasent day.nnI only have two complaints, 1 one of the elevators was down for maintenance the exact same one was broken last year as well...I hope it hasn't been broken for a whole year! this means the wait time during peak times 830am-10am can be long. 2 the hot tub was broken.nnLocation in also perfect. We walked to the hotel from Union Station. There is also a subway station close by St. Andrews station we also caught two shows at Mirvish and the theatres were one block away, perfect!nnWill stay again.
This is a hidden gem. Staff was fantastic, breakfast alone is worth the stay. Has 3 elevators never had to wait long and we were on the top floor. There is a self parking garagebehind the hotel in the alley which was perfect. Has a gym and a pool. 5 to 10 min walk to Ripley's, CN tower Rogers center, 10 to 15 minute walk to union station to get anywhere further. Tones of eating options around . 3 min walk to Boston pizza.nRoom was clean , had a full kitchen which was a huge plus
My wife and I just returned after a 5 night stay. Our room was perfect and had a fully equipped kitchen with the exception of an oven. The bed was cozy with soft sheets. The cleaning staff went beyond, right down to organizing our shoes nice a neat.nThe breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty and great coffee too.nEveryone from the front desk to the very friendly doormen were polite and helpful.nnLocation is incredible, and If you are using the Hop on Hop off recommendnStop 8 is a block and a half away, we used our 24 hour ticket so many times and when we needed a break stop 8 was a 7 minute walk back to the hotel.nnIf I had to complain about anything it would be slow elevators, but honestly a few extra seconds is hardly a deal breaker.nnWe will be back for a Blue Jays game soon.nnHenrik and Jacqualine
I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Toronto Downtown/Entertainment District while attending an international scientific congress with my mother. The hotel’s location was perfect within walking distance of many of Toronto’s main attractions, restaurants, and the convention centre, making it incredibly convenient for both work and sightseeing.nnThe complimentary breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of options every morning, including fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, cereals, jam, eggs, juice, milk, coffee, and many other breakfast essentials. It was a great way to start each day.nnFrom the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome, but I especially want to thank Daniel and Parth for making our stay truly exceptional.nnMy mother does not speak much English, and they both went out of their way to make sure she always felt comfortable and understood. Parth patiently used a translator whenever needed, and Daniel, who thankfully speaks Spanish, made communication so much easier for us. Their kindness, patience, and genuine willingness to help meant a great deal to both of us.nnThey also showed incredible thoughtfulness by offering us a room on the third floor the first floor with guest rooms because my mother is a little afraid of elevators. It was such a considerate gesture that made her feel much more comfortable throughout our stay.nnTheir outstanding customer service, warmth, and attention to detail made our trip even more memorable. Thank you, Daniel and Parth, for going above and beyond. We truly appreciate everything you did for us and would gladly stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto.
When I was planning my trip to Toronto, I was planning to only be there one evening and one morning so wanted to be somewhere near attractions. This hotel was significantly less expensive than nearby hotels. When we arrived, we pulled up and valet met us immediately. It was $60 CA to park overnight which is not bad compared to other similar cities. They took our car and we walked right up to check in about 6 pm on a Friday evening. The man at the desk quickly checked us in and upgraded myself and two boys to a 2 Bedroom. I did not ask for this but it was THE KINDEST THING EVER. I was exhausted, having just driven almost 9 hours from Quebec City due to bad traffic. The room was pristine, my bed was super comfortable and this hotel is literally 2 small blocks from CN Tower and Aquarium. Great stay and really appreciated the upgrade. Breakfast in the AM was very hearty. Would absolutely stay here again!
