So happy with our experience and the food here! We stopped by on a busy Saturday afternoon and the wait time for a table was about 25-30 minutes. Waitlist to sign in is at the front counter. We ordered the fish sauce wings, bun bo hue, grilled pork chops with broken rice, and a vietnamese iced coffee. Everything was BOMBBBBBBB but special shout out to the friendly service we received from Linda who works there! She was attending to the front counter while taking care of all the food/drinks for every table there. She was very efficient and calm as she was handling literally 10 different tasks all at once, all by herself. We can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!
The restaurant is understaffed, so expect a wait - worth it!. I got the mango salad and fish sauce wings. Note there was only 1 cook, so I know Auntie or Uncle back there is a 10/10 cook! The chicken wings were hot, saucy, crispy, and JUICY!! The mango salad was so fresh and the fried tofu was sooo good in the mix. My friends came for the pho which they said was definitely worth it as well! Lastly, the prices here are actually decent for the area! Definitely coming back again :
My go to Vietnamese spot when I'm in Seattle! We came in around 12:15ish or so. Took awhile for a table to free up. We ordered the grilled pork spring roll, Bun Rieu - Shrimp Egg Tofu Noodle Soup, Steamed Rice Cakes - Bahn Beo Chen, and the combo bun. Downside this time around, food took a long time to come out. And unfortunately, the steamed rice cakes even though we ordered it ahead of time, still came last, almost after we were all eating. It was definitely good to try, but definitely too heavy to eat it as the last item. I definitely recommend only ordering the rice cakes for a larger party, like 5+. Nonetheless, the flavors were all there. Still so good! Hope for service and kitchen can pump food out faster. Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town. Everything we ordered was delicious but definitely order from their house special selections and definitely order the bahn beo steamed rice cakes and bahn xeo Vietnamese crepe. Remember to order the rice cakes dish ahead of time since they need 20 minutes to prepare it. The cha gio fried egg rolls were great, crispy and they're fish sauce is nicely balance, not too sweet nor salty. The only comment is that their bowl of pho is a tad bit on the oily side. That would be one of the few items that I probably won't order again. But from what I heard the other dishes are fantastic. We'll definitely be back to try their other selections.
Great Vietnamese Food!! Every dish we ordered was exquisite!! I am looking forward to coming back to try their other dishes Food: 5/5
The food was great as expected. However, the waiting was crazy even if there were many empty tables. There was only one server so she couldn’t handle everything herself quickly.
Right now Renton Bistro is having staffing problems, so expext to wait a little bit. That said, the wait is worth it. The menu is full of Vietnamese specialties that are simply delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly.
Love this place! Great menu selection, quality food and great service. They do get busy during lunch times, be patient, the wait is worth it.
I went to this place 3-4 times. Pros: food I ordered were great! Everything tasted yummy. Menu variety. Cons: staff shortage. long wait time to get seatings and order food. If you are time constraints, don’t go there. I recommend to go off hours and when you are not in rush. Parking is available on premises but it can be very crowded and you may park on the street. There are steps to enter the restaurant. Wheelchair would be very difficult. Casual atmosphere, good for the whole family.
Family owned Vietnamese restaurant. I have eaten here 15+ times and highly recommend. The Bún bò Huế is the house specialty and usually sold out before well before close. My favorite is the beef salad Gỏi bò always made to serve. The vegetables used for garnishing soups is always abundant, clean, and fresh. The seating is comfortable but not lavish. Parking can be an issue , sometimes you have a 50+ meter walk ; no big deal. There is usually a wait during diner so be prepared. No complaints but I wish they served hard liquor ; so I have had to BOYHenny
