Rensselaer Park Elementary School

As a former student of this trainwreak of a school. And I speek on behalf of all of the class of 2023 that went to this so called "school" it was trash she did not care about any of the students opinions. For example. In the 2016 to 2017 year. Every student of the school had to sit on an old dirty dusty gym floor while the teachers sit there doing nothing like the rest of us. As the assembly's went on and on for the whole year and guess what? Nobody learned anything. It was the same annoying screeching voice of the social worker for the school talking about perseverance or optimism. But the speeches we're bland and boring as always. Further more. For my educational experience for my ela class. The teacher just said everyday ok class get a book and read for the rest of the day. Nobody Readed. They just sat there in groups camping around in areas where the teacher couldn't see them. Overall. The school was vary unorganized and such a negative time period of my life that I want to forget. As you see the photos of the principle. She looks like a person that knows what she's doing. Well you are wrong. She would get so offended when someone called her "Mrs mcgrouchy" she suspended one person one time. Others got sent to the office. That's another reason that you should not send your child here unless you want a negative infuance around them. Just do yourself a favor. Don't send your children here. From the former student. Joseph golden- Oh yeah Mrs mcgrouchy if you are so worried about your image. Just give up. Its over the people have spoken Like bill gates said "we all need people who will give us feedback. That's how we improve.

The principal in this school is so unprofessional and very unorganized! When they do wrong they point the finger at the parents. She can't help with bullying, she can't help with bus information, So what is her job duties again, if she is no help? And also very rude and she gets upset so fast! Rather home school my children before allowing my kids to be around her negative energy. Didn't even want to give this school a whole star.

Rpes is by far better teaching team than turnpike elem.But cse chairperson Erin flannigan is very 2 faced.she tells you what you want to hear outside of cse meeting and completely different during and after meeting .lansingburgh schools don't handle special needs children properly..its the almighty buck first.

They have no concerns for their students! They show carelessness when it comes to these students! They have no direct contact to the bus routes nor the bus driver! Called the school to see what information they can give me about my kids and their school bus not making it to their stop on time and they couldn't give me not an ounce of information but just a phone number and tells me "I don't know what to tell you, ma'am!" But as a mother I found out information on my own that the school couldn't provide to me! Find out the school bus never left school premises because of an incident on the bus so every student had to get off the bus til further notice! The school staff couldn't even give me this information when they sit in the office all day just pushing paper but couldn't show great concern for their students! They weren't even aware of the situation going on in the back of their school grounds! TRANSFERRING MY KIDS ASAP! This school don't care for no one but a check! I care for my kids well being and knowledge of education and this school can't give them that! South Troy schools are way better then north Troy schools!
