Renovco, Renovation et Restauration Apres Sinistre

I provided a complete printed list of the jobs to be done to complete my renovations for the quote. We signed a contract, we agreed that we would be working from a list at least as detailed as the one I provided, and I gave a deposit. A few days later Alex returned with an unacceptably incomplete list of the jobs to complete the contract. They wasted a month of my time as I tried everything imaginable to get these people to provide their own version of the jobs to complete my renovation. I should have just said "Well, I guess we're working from my list if you can't complete your own version". It appeared that they were doing everything to avoid working from a detailed list. Contract was signed on March 17 2017, work was supposed to have began on April 18. Was still trying to get them to complete their version of the list on April 14, so I cancelled them from beginning till they finished their list. They finished their list by the end of April. They rescheduled the job to begin in Mid-August. By July I had experienced such a lack of professionalism and read so many bad reviews that I cancelled them doing the work. I have requested the return of my deposit ten times. It appears that they intend to steal my $5000 deposit. Insist on a complete list of all of the jobs to be done to avoid surprises and these guys will likely avoid your job too. If and when these guys return my deposit I will edit this review to reflect that development.

Renovco did a complete redesign/renovation of our kitchen. These guys are full service -- from creating the design to following through in making it exactly as it was planned. They employ a trustworthy, courteous and hardworking group of craftsman. While there were a couple of minor delays, the end result was impressive and worth waiting for. The quality of the work performed along with the building material used gave us a new kitchen that we will both be proud of for years to come. Special thanks to Rana Farage who took charge of the project from start to completion, and was always available to respond to our questions or concerns.

Overall they are pleasant people when you actually talk to them in person or on the phone, but very difficult to get anything done. They promise things by certain dates and don't deliver on time. They don't respond to emails. Have to constantly follow-up by phone but if you leave a message they don't call back. This is my experience with them anyway; and I have been nothing but polite. Just really not worth all the hassle. I am still waiting for work to be finished so I will amend this review when (IF) the work is actually completed.

Renovco has a very quick response time for any damages. They came in and fixed a leak in the 2nd floor bathroom that had spread all the way to the basement. They took care of everything. I chose to upgrade my floors and put in some crown moldings. Their contractors are well connected in the industry making easy to have multiple things done. Thanks Renovco!
