Remingtons of Niagara

Took family last night, staff and helper were very helpful and pleasant, although the place wasn’t full there was a delay in getting food in reasonable time, the waiter did his best but he was running all time from table to table. As for food appetiser was good order crab cake and fried Brie. My son ordered mussels and there were really good. As main dish both my wife and young son had Stuffed and Blackened chicken, there were good but meat portion was too small compared to price you pay but overall was very testy. My oldest son had and was good. I ordered snapper and wasn’t good , it was dry and over cooked and it’s seems to me weren’t fresh either and most likely was frozen, however I enjoyed mash potatoes and fresh veggies. Overall I would rated 3.5 .

I can definitely see why Remington's is one of Niagara's top-rated steakhouses! Brought my husband here for dinner on his birthday. We had a great experience, from the moment the friendly hostess greeted us and all throughout the meal. For appetizers, we shared the ahi tuna and the escargot. We each had the surf-and-turf for our main. The lobster tail was buttered to perfection. Everything was delicious and the portions are sized perfectly - appetizers were not too big so we were able to enjoy them and our entrees without any waste, but left comfortably full. The restaurant is inviting and elegant, but also cozy. I must also say that as far as a steakhouse goes, the prices here are super reasonable. I only added this because I saw some other people in their reviews making unfair comments about the price...well, you're not gonna get a steak here at the same cost as a pizza or a burger at the other places on the strip...and Remington's has offers on Groupon if you're interested. Their website also has their menu with all of their prices and specials...there's no surprises in the prices. The meal you will enjoy at Remington's is great value for the price and the service is fantastic!

Enjoyed this restaurant while visiting Niagara Falls. Ordered the Couples Special for two and it was such a great value. We shared the fried brie, I had the blackened chicken and he ordered the prime rib. Everything was cooked perfectly! The prime rib was delicious and exceed our expectations. The special came with a chocolate torte dessert vanilla and chocolate ice cream to complete the meal. Our server was Krystin and she was great! Loved the cozy atmosphere and live singing. Would definitely return if we are ever back in the area.

This is an upscale restaurant in a very touristy Niagara Falls ON, and was a good break compared to other options on the close by Clifton Cliff. We were here on a slower night and it wasn’t so busy. Server was great, and there were couple of songs performed in the centre of the restaurant, not at our table. Food was good, especially cheesy warm bread, however I think that restaurant is overpriced. Please note that there are not so many vegetarian options.

My boyfriend and I visited tonight for dinner and used a groupon that offered a house wine, 3 apps, 1 entree each, and 1 dessert. We’ve dined here before and sadly miss the live singing/entertainment as it was a lively experience! I assume it’s due to Covid restrictions as to why they stopped doing it. The restaurant had some charm to it with the dim lighting and friendly and polite service, however in some ways could use modern renovations in the washrooms and taped up signs against the wall for hand hygiene. Overall the restaurant felt a little quiet without much music or customers. The food was a bit on the smaller side and could have been more generous however, was delicious and fair for the price of the groupon! Overall would recommend and return in the future!

The food was excellent! I went with my friend and we did the ultimate couple Offer that comes with 3 courses. It just kept getting better with each course. The crab cakes appetizers were delicious, the prime rib and seafood fettuccine was amazing and the pecan pie dessert was just out of this world! It was perfection! And there there was a waiter Sam Hart with the most buttery voice, that serenaded us at dinner. It was a wonderful evening!

We went to this restaurant for dinner; it was Tuesday and we didn’t have a reservation. They sat us promptly and it wasn’t busy . There were empty tables throughout our dinner. Pros: sat promptly, friendly hostess, my food and cocktail was ok and singing wait staff. Cons: waited an hour for food to arrive; waitress did tell us that it would take 25 minutes to cook the chicken meal. The food arrived an hour later; we were thinking of leaving when it arrived. Other upscale steakhouse restaurant at least give you bread; not this one. We order garlic bread for the appetizer and it was salty for my taste. Family member ordered the bbq rib; the rib was huge and chewy. I tasted the rib and it was too sweet and chewy . Also, we didn’t really see the waitress much and we had to ask other waiters for help. Lastly the place was overpriced & the whole experience was mediocre at best.

Our experience was amazing! We saw the 4 course meal deal in Groupon. Gotta say it definitely worth it. For the appetizer I had shrimp cocktail. Which tasted excellent and it was perfectly plated. For second course I had the prime rib soup, it tasted okay but definitely needed to add generous amount of salt and peppers to enhance the flavour. For the main course I had prime rib. Which is this restaurant’s especially. Which was just perfect! For desert had the chocolate mousse with Gooseberry which was good too. All that for $45/person is a steal of the deal and I wouldn’t mind paying full price for that. Also service was excellent too.

Great value and good quality meals. Our server was a seasoned professional who knew his stuff. Prime rib was tender and perfectly cooked to med-rare. Overall great experience for date night.

Have never been but picked up a WagJag and made it a night for 4 Price Fix Menu. Steak and Prime Rib are great. I think they put the Prime Rib on the grill at the end if you are worried about pink Prime Rib. The Pasta dish was surprisingly amazing considering the place isn’t Italian. The apps are a tad on the small side but that could be a Price Fix thing. Some of the staff pick up the microphone and start singing which is awesome. Mimi treated us great even though I gave her a run for it.
