It was my first time visiting Relay and definitely won’t be my last. I initially wanted the cold brew maple oat drink, but they were out of cold brew. The barista offered to make me the same type of drink, but with espresso. Wow, this was probably the best iced espresso drink I’ve had all year. The service was top notch, as well. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I also love the ambiance of this place! Wish I lived closer, I’d be here all the time. Last but not least, they have a pumpkin cake on the menu for the fall and it was absolutely amazing. Just the right amount of sweetness, you need to try it!
200th Review! I’ve been to Relay a couple times now. Today I got a cappuccino and it was incredible. I love the atmosphere inside and the patio on King William is top notch. One of my favourite coffee shops in Hamilton!
I wanted to try here cause I read it is the only place in Hamilton to roast their own beans? Don’t know if that’s a fact? But the coffee was great, with nutty notes. The coffee muffin was a huge let down unfortunately, it was flavorless and underbaked. It was like a dough flavored muffin.
Coffee is great! Waffle was OK but felt a little pricey for what I got. Also felt I should have got a little more whipped cream in my latte for the extra dollar it cost. Otherwise a nice place to sit and have a chat with friends!Food: 4/5

Been here the third time! Everything that i had so far was great, cappuccino, americano with oat milk yum, and the shown in pic is batched brew coffee! Highly recommend it. Especially that matcha cookie! Oh my!
Lovely coffee shop in the heart of Hamilton! From experience, their lattes are great. However, I was to go back for a cocktail and a book soon!

quite possibly the best lattes in hamilton. the iced vanilla latte and maple latte are so so good. the workers are also very nice, great customer service!
Another fan of those matcha cookies Coffee is good, too. Staff are nice. Lots of seating considering the small size of the place, and the patio has a nice big tree so you can sit in the shade. Interesting work from local artists too. Recommended.Food: 5/5
