This is supposed to be an airport hotel, so I expected a regular shuttle. Turns out you have to call when you get to the pickup spot at the airport and then and only then will they send the shuttle. And then it takes 20-25 min for the shuttle to arrive. I thought this was close to the airport. The shuttle driver was nice. But it was worse the next morning. We weren’t informed when we checked in but you need to schedule the return shuttle 2 hours in advance. Hope you don’t miss your flight! So we have been sitting here in the lobby for 2 hours. There was an open slot only 50 min from when we asked but since I hadn’t booked ahead they wouldn’t send the shuttle for me and my family. I won’t be staying here again. The room was pretty big and was fine. Hotel is pretty plain and in the middle of nowhere.
Good for a quick night's sleep on a stop over. The rooms are dated and need some updating, however the bed we had was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shuttle made our journey to and from the hotel easy. A shout out to the restaurant manager who recommended the Korean wings and made dinner enjoyable.
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Location is fair being Airport West, unfortunately not within walking distance of restaurants like some of the hotels closer to the highway. Free parking was a welcome bonus, as most near the airport do charge for it. They also have a free airport shuttle which I did not use, but I've heard it gets busy. All staff were excellent! Very friendly front desk staff, eager to help and solve any issues when arised. Special thanks to Lady as well as the manager on duty. Rooms were good size, clean and had ample lighting and outlets. TVs were wall-mounted and larger than expected. Bathrooms are fine but are in need of a renovation as everything feels aged. Breakfast buffet $16 was actually fantastic for the price and the woman working was very pleasant. Would get this again if staying here. The restaurant and bar is nice and the dinner is served at a fair price. They have a lot of beers on tap which is good, however the food is nothing special. Didn't get to use the amenities, pool looked on the smaller size and there was no hot tub. Gym seemed to be adequate size although weirdly shaped. For the price paid, the property is good. Only thing not getting this hotel a 5 rating is its need for an update. The rooms and bathrooms are in need of a renovation and would get this property to the next level. Overall I was very happy with this hotel at the price, and it served its purpose. The staff treats their guests well, and appreciate loyalty status.
Overall, great experience. Price was still high given the number of hotels in the area. I notified them in advance that I would be arriving after midnight and they had no problem. I wish they had features that allow various checkin times given that our flight was delayed entering the city. We didn't pay for the breakfast as it was much cheaper to go to the Tim's next door. They offered free shuttle to the airport. Rooms: Rooms are the typical Marriott. They have a microwave, coffee, nice shower and comfy beds.
This hotel is roughly at 15-20min from the airport. They do have complimentary parking. The hotel and rooms might benefit from some retouch but our room was clean, the hotel appears clean. Our room was big and had a mini sectional sofa. They have a hot breakfast buffet but you need to pay for it. There is lounge at the hotel with really basic pub food. Right outside of the hotel there is a gas station and a Tim Horton.
Decent place for an overnight stay if you have an early flight the next day. They have an airport shuttle - I didn't use it so I don't know how convenient it might be. No decent places to eat within walking distance. There's a restaurant on site with a good buffet breakfast but no take out trays so you can't take your breakfast to your room. Typical of Marriott brand hotels today there is no free coffees in the lobby. Be careful if you log in to the Internet. If you put your room number and click on free Internet you will get charged for enhanced Internet. I'm really getting fed up with Marriott hotels and will probably switch to Hilton brands going forward.
I stayed here for a month during a training program. ALL staff were friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a quiet room, mine was 503. I have zero complaints. Be kind and you will receive kindness back. Rooms: Everything was available for my long term stay. Hot plate, microwave and mini fridge no freezer
I am not certain what I was expecting, but with the name Sheraton attached, I was expecting more. This hotel is being held together with duct tape. Rooms were not overly clean; empty sugar packets all over, tub had chips flaking off. The drywall near the window was all damaged and stained brown from moisture. The TV would not function properly, and the elevator shook its way up and down. The shuttle bus literally was held together with duct tape, in multiple places in fact. The mattresses were decent though, which is very important. Overall, this hotel has been poorly maintained, and otherwise neglected.
Great for a quick stopover before a long flight. Clean, comfortable room. The room could have used better maintenance and focus on details. Some paint chipping above the shower, dangling visible messy power bar underneath the tv.Rooms: 5/5
Checked in around midnight after a cancelled flight, nothing was open, no bar, no room service. When asked for options, I was told to search google. The elevator and my floor smelled like Cheech and Chong were staying at the hotel. Breakfast was terrible, bacon was greasy, sausages were gross and the eggs I ordered were dangerously undercooked. Asked for a late checkout, 1 hour free, then $10 per hour and no airport shuttles between Noon and 3pm. Overall, I did not feel like a valued customer of the Marriott group, but rather a nuisance to a disengaged franchise owner. I usually stay at the Four Points on Airport Road which has always been awesome - will never be back to this location and will warn others from doing so.
