Decent selection but the store itself isn’t pleasant to go to. The fridges are all dark, making it difficult to see anything. The checkout lanes are also remarkably narrow- if you’re any sense of overweight there’s a good chance you wouldn’t fit through them. Food prices are standard for Canadian grocery prices.
Good place to buy fresh veggies and other groceries but you might find it difficult to find things.nAs an international student you might feel that the groceries are much more costly than other places such as food basics.
This is my go-to grocery store in my neighborhood. Very good stock levels, even on flyer specials. They offer good quality fresh produce. The meat department has a good variety to choose from. Prices are very reasonable. All the store staff is customer orientated.
First time shopping at this store and probably the last also, unfriendly staff, poor selection and prices the same as Loblaws. Very narrow aisles, people bumping into each other, carts are not allowed out of the store so we had to carry everything out by hand to the car.
Worst shopping experience with marg on cash. Super judgmental felt the need to tell my 6 year old child to walk down a hall to the bathroom by himself as in packing groceries she didn't lift a finger to help with as she pushed the next girls food into mine. I had to tell her to give me a minute.
